I have a few questions. Where the tutorial says...

In the CK create the texture sets (following the steps in this tutorial: Using Texture sets for Skyrim) for all the custom textures you are going to use with your race:

The head textures (one texture set for the male textures and another one for the female ones)
The eye colours (one texture set for each eye colour)
The brows (one texture set for each brow type)
The body (one texture set for the male textures and another one for the female ones)
The hands (one texture set for the male textures and another one for the female ones)

If I leave out Eye color texture sets, will it draw from the pool of my installed eye mods? Same with Hair?

Also, what can I do to tell which texture is a Diffuse/normal/etc?

Skywind's bound to fail because it's built in the Skyrim engine. Skyrim has many mechanics that simply aren't desirable for a Morrowind recreation.

Lots of cool concept art stuff that didn't get used. For example, imperial armor with a dragon crest (very cool) and with some furs, adapted to the region. The legion isn't some foreign invasion force, it's mostly locally recruited men and women and Skyrim did a piss poor job at showing that.

Dunmer are unique, and their culture is very fleshed out, because of Morrowind. Nords are definitely cool too, but there's a lot of lame viking stereotypes that Skyrim threw in which I don't like.

It sucks really. This is the main reason why I don't like oblivion and skyrim's enemy scaling system: you have less freedom for character building when you need to keep up with the world. In Morrowind you could recover from a shitty character build.

As for the wrist seam, my textures dont have any. Pic related is with ENB disabled, so there is not bloom or SSS hiding it.

For Oblivion, you really should use body mods by default. Vanilla bodies look worse than Skyrim's.

For men it's easy, just throw in Robert's Male. For women, I'd say pick something from EVE HGEC if you want to have plenty of options for character textures and outfits. If you just use vanilla stuff, go for Robert's Female instead.
