Even then, there's a Kefka/Golbez event coming up on July 8th. My recommendation is to re-roll until you can pull one of the S-tier characters in the first 5 tickets, then save the rest.

I got lucky and by my ~25th reroll I got Kain, then Exdeath.

So I'm playing FF 13-2 for the first time and I don't even know where to begin harping on shit design. Why did you design a combat system that wants to be used almost instantly but instead you need to put in at least 4 inputs with an activation delay AND a second of lag. Then there's the fact that there's all these cool items that require secret items and they don't tell you where to look for either of them.

I don't know if I'm getting too old at 21 but every time they try to appeal to emotions it has absolutely no effect. I honestly couldn't give less of a shit about what happens to any of these characters or worlds.

I wanted to finish this so I could play Lightning Returns since it seems to have great reviews but I don't think I can make it.

There's one at the end of the game, you have to reset the area and run through the entire level from beginning to end, run past a monster at the end but don't kill it, wait for it to disappear and go back for a chance to fight the Albino version of it.

You got it wrong, I only took Cecil RW for Golbez. And no, I didn't get the whole trinity. 550 mythril only got me a few medicas, a Shout that's split into two (Planet Protector and Inaugural Parade), and Terra's BSB. No actual Shout, no SG, no Tyro BSB.

I'll have to drag Aeristh and Edea through Sunday, but of course the Bridge will be long gone by then.

No I wouldn't, Exdeath's Graviga shits over all normal enemies, Ramza has both physical attacks and Ultima and enough magical stats to back it up with actual damage, lots of stat increasing passives, self status heal and TWO AoE buffs and break skills
Even more than these two I'd like to get Refia given how mandatory a good healer is and her LB cures every status condidtion and doubles as huge defense buff, Curaja is great, ARISE is fantastic and on top of that she has ATK/DEF buff better than Ramza. Anon, I get it, Lightning IS good, I won't argue about that, but she's far from the best when the only thing she's good as is hitting hard and again, things like buffs/debuffs are just as important as in RK(debuffs even more so) and you wouldn't say a physical attacker in RK alone is the best character
