Hello fire emblem general, this is a public service announcement for those of you who are interested in the gameplay of Fire Emblem.
I stumbled upon a very obscure, free Japanese indie game called Gray Merca that has the gameplay of Fire Emblem pretty much down to a T. The story is pretty good too. I'm having a lot of fun with it.
This game is in complete Japanese though so that's a big obstacle I imagine. :V

Peri is more mediocre as a unit. Faster than Silas with a better personal, but Silas has better class choices and is a bit tankier. Both of them have nice A+ choices(Peri has Kagero/Selena/Charlotte while Silas has Kaze/Ryoma)

Arguably the worst units are Setsuna(20% strength growth doesn't cut it girl, also has to compete with Takumi and possibly Mozu), Rinkah(25% strength, also 20% HP growth is terrible for a tank unit. Only use for her if she wants to tank is a Vantage abuse Tank since with her low HP she should trigger Vantage fairly often). A lot of the BR characters need growths redistribution.

Adding to this, ultimately what it comes down to is that beast/dragon weakness or even a combination thereof is something that only really looks like it could be a concern on paper. For example, even a Kana with both is not significantly worse off than one without, and then there's the factor of taking inherited stats into account during the process. Not that Kana is ever that great of a unit regardless.

Foxes should have been a different type of beast unit compared to Wolves. Foxes are Illusionists and should have reflected that with a different set of skills(including frolic as a skill) rather than imitating the wolves just with even instead of odd. Also have them be mages and have a viable mag stat so as to justify their 1-2 range access.
