LS mode's electrocution with decent refinement level can do more damage zanbato mode, especially if you use a fast weapon that can apply shock on hit like Honor lightsaber. Shock have a short duration, but you have enough time to combine it with "instant-multi-hit" skills like Soaring and Gyre.
But that is only useful if you actually use your XXX between skills (because that is how you like to combo shit, or because you are using a zan so you have godawful cooldowns, or because you find it fun for whatever reason). I want to gear my Eleven Knight but gracia set will take a year to get and a lib will take two years. After I finish the dailies there's nothing left for me to do to make progress towards the goal of gitting gud. Also I question whether or not epics are real since it seems they will never drop me a usable weapon and thus I will never be good. This game feels less like playing it and more like I'm slaving through it after I get to the level cap.

It just increases status level (it is supposed to make it easier to proc shit against enemy status resists). I did some tests on training room, and apparently it is easier to get and maintain +10 stacks at max TP level, while with zero TP you only get 3~7 (maybe more if you try hard enough). The thing is, shit is random and the ingame DPS analysis is a bit weird when it tries to calculate status damage, so I don't know how good these extra stacks are.
I prefer to put my TP on Basic Training and Soaring since I use that skill a lot in all my combos.

When your OV sets are dogshit so you need to rely on elemental damage even harder, and the best way to do it is to shit elemental damage everywhere with some motherfucking explosions on hit.
It really depends of your class, build, etc. For example, a f.hobo should get gracia set if they actually want to do damage because all her chron sets are mediocre, "one trick pony" shit at best, while /ss/ mom will probably never find something better than monster ruler, but the same can't be said about kat mom since forbidden swordsmanship set isn't that great.

I did Land of Torment but it was really shitty dealing with the boss's "gimmick" that I have no clue what is and the pillars before that which had a million health.
Gate of Sorrow seems to be the easiest to me at the moment.

Alright guys, for anyone that is farming alts for the gracia sets here are a few things I have found usefull as fuck
First is of course, get a mechanic so you can lvl the alts to lvl 17 as fast as posible (I just used the lvl up tickets that you get on each char for getting into a guild)

Use the Sirocco server to create more alts per day(you can send account bound items using mail to the Cain server characters)

If you make a guild for your alts remember to buy the guild buffs.

And last the most usefull one. Make an army of DTs, that's it. They are the most broken class in the game at lvl 17, I don't even farm the first dungeon anymore since the low lvl DTs completly shit on the Fire dungeon (they can dodge the bombs)

So since I'm pretty sure that I will eventually clear all the dungeons with my DT army, what do I even get by doing so?

DTs at lvl 17 have 4 skills, 3 of wich can clear whole rooms and have 5 s cooldowns and the other skill makes her invulnerable for 2-3 seconds and also has like a 6s coldown. And at level 20 they get this fucking massive aoe that gathers everything on the same spot and ccs for like 4-5 sconds. And they never go oom. So yeah they are far better than creators, and any other class in the game at that level really.

Any slayer is fine, this game focuses a lot on balance so any class can do fine on pve. Also note that each class has 4 subclases that are completly different from each other so again, just pick whatever catches your eye or fits the way you want to play.
