And FINALLY I can get back in here.

I'm a bit disappointed to say this, but ZTD was definitely the weakest part of the series for me. It would have been great if it wasn't for that sudden and rushed as fuck exposition of Diana's past and that Delta-shown-as-the-player-vision bullshit, it made the parts with Delta in them feel like a freaking free-for-all for consistency.

I liked Diana as a character, but why the hell didn't they build her past piece by piece during the regular story parts? Having all that information spouted by Sigma in one single scene felt really forced and out of place, like "hey, here's your whole past life I just told you, let's make out in this freaky ass pod".

In what points was the player perspective from Delta, and what wasn't? That one ending where you had to shoot Delta as Sean was just fucking stupid, like what the fucking fuck was that? How did he know he was there in person and at that certain place?

At least the part with Carlos getting on Akane was explained well enough, the first time I saw it I was in full what-the-actual-fuck mode. At least the post-ending story bits were great, and especially on Mira's side were the only thing redeemable about that character. And even then the full worth of it could only be achieved in a fourth part that would actually be about fixin her past. Because my god that character had nothing good going for her. But yeah, it was pretty much the same thing with Dio in VLR, and that game was straight up 5/5 material for me.

Had ZTD not used VLR's twist so much, it may have had more impact on me, but ZTD just straight up lacked the mindfuck moment and impact the two earlier games had, and seeing all the talk from Kodaka about ZTD's story "blowing your mind" I was disappointed. Not a bad game by any means, it was great, but definitely the weakest Zero Escape. At least it happened, to there's that, as well. It felt like a conclusion the series needed.

I love the localization choices Aksys makes but their release practices and policies, especially with EU, make it extremely difficult to genuinely like them. It's truly a shame since they do have some great translators.

1. Breakable parts gives you an extra reward depending on what you break after you complete a mission. Most of the time, broken parts allows you to strike that area for more damage.

2. You eventually will unlock predator styles that allows you to change what each devour does. The initial long hold gives you a full bar of boost and 3 Aragami bullets. The quicker one only gives you half a bar of boost and 1 Aragami bullet. You can shoot Arigami bullets with R+Triangle to give your allies a full bar of boost and upgrade their boost level by 1 (3 is the max).

Just finished Persona 4 Golden. It might now be my favorite RPG, because as insubstantial as the dialogue may seem at times there's not a single line written that I don't relate to. It encapsulates perfectly the awkwardness of becoming a true human, of having multiple dimensions to a personality that isn't always the radiant being we often imagine ourselves to be. It's the game to play if one doesn't have the time or desire to digest the Phenomenology of the Self. I'm in outer space reading Frankfurt School Treatises that curl the common man into fetuses, and yet I would still wholeheartedly recommend P4G to anyone that's not only a game fan, but a fan of self discovery.

Mine is the US version. Most Bamco games are localized in multiple languages like ToHR which was also in French, and I think Spanish too.
I checked for someone the other day but there's no German or Italian on this version so they might still be working on those. Think they planned on including Russian too. Spanish is also already in the US version as well.
