Since D.va, even if she gets her damage or durability buffed will still basically be the only character in the game without an ult, what are some thoughts for a mostly power agnostic ult change?

I've got two potential ideas

1. D.va's ult no longer can kill her, and has a longer arm time. This would allow longer area denial, while also allowing dva to stay and fight in the area/ harassing enemies trying to run for cover instead of having to run and hide herself.

2. D.va puts her meka on autopilot, jumping out and fighting alongside it. While in autopilot, the meka can move normally while firing, with a more normalized damage output at medium-long range. At any time D.va can reactivate her ult to jump back in it if she's low on health.

depends, people compare him to McCree, who recently got nerfed, because they both have a stun and attack combo that (before McCree's nerf) can kill the majority of the cast. The reason McCree got nerfed was because Blizzard said that they never intended for McCree to be able to do that to tanks. Roadhog can't kill tanks in one hit, and some of the smaller characters won't get hit enough by the scrap gun to always guarantee a one shot kill.

I don't think he'll be nerfed any time soon, and if he is it more then likely won't be to the same extent that McCree was. Perhaps his hook will gain a second of cool down or something, but his combo won't get it's damage halved or anything.

I think its interesting how you can see the evolution of people playing this game quite clearly

Few hours in: Hanzo and Genji
5-10 hours: Start exploring the other characters but still fall back onto Hanzo and Genji
10-15 hours: Win big with one character and start playing more
15- The End of Time: They find the character thats right for them and play it so much that they become godlike

15-The end of time: They keep playing Genji and Hanzo, never get any better because they are only playing the "Cool" characters and give up on the game because they lose every game

If you're trying to get good at the game, really genuinely good to where you're going to be effective no matter what the meta is, you need to play widowmaker, hanzo, tracer, pharah, sol76, or junkrat. Not all of them, pick one and play only that.
These are the skill based classes, and they become overpowered more quickly than the others as your skill level increases

Previously, FTH was so ridiculous that M1 was almost like an afterthought because E+FTH was way too powerful to not be doing all the time.

As he stands now, he offers almost nothing that a S76 or Reaper can't do better, besides E+M1 headshot to counter persistent Tracers/Genjis. However, that is pretty mechanically tough to do (since stun is so short and you can bet that they are mashing recall/deflect as soon as they get out) for just about the only thing he shines at.

FTH is now a barely-touched aspect of his entire kit.
