Help me people.

I got an Ark non-dedicated server. It works fine for a long time, we build alot of stuff.

Then all of a sudden, for one of my friend, they get Host connection Timed Out error (I think).

After reinstalling my game, and they reinstall theirs, we start a new map and it works, but then i try loading in old map from ShooterGames, and the server works for me, but not for them.

Anyone else experienced this? Whats the fucking point in spending weeks on a server building stuff only to have it stop working for the clients/friends?

I was thinking of some silly 300-400 oxygen (due to 50% consumption) character with the movespeed bonus too, have to get a pretty big chunk of HP though to offset the loss
is the 20% adjustment to movespeed and melee a flat percentage (as listed in the stat) or is it based on your total move/melee % ?
I use an upgraded gun or crossbow most times anyway so I figure that won't be a problem

I joined that one for a while but it's too damn crowded, there are bases literally everywhere remotely worth building on that you can't destroy even if they're clearly abandoned because muh offline raiding. And the spawns are completely fucked and most dinos are next to impossible to find.

Yes they already are working on it and i hate it, online raids are hard when the defenders actually know what theyre doing its 150 AI turrets and players with all their supply right next to them vs Players and what they could set up near the enemy base just for the defenders to drop what they had inside the base on the ground
Offline raids are the only way loot is obtained from a raid and alot easier than fighting an uphill battle with fun being the only upside

What possible loot could you obtain from a raid that couldn't be had more easily yourself?

Pretty much only blueprints are important enough to warrant a raid, dinos die in the fighting, the structures can't be captured, and the loot you'd get otherwise is usually quicker obtained just farming it across the map. The answer would be locking blueprints to an object and having some mechanism to prevent their movement outside of capture.

Also, for people who've spammed turrets and plant X, just have siege weapons that outrange them and do slow but steady damage to targets. Catapults, cannons, artillery, something to punch a hole in structure without having to get a dino to tank bullets all day.

Can someone post pics of a good Quetz platform design for hauling large dinos like rexes and shit? Would appreciate it.
