I'm so sorry.

Having played a few days, I'll say that it's ok.

I like the level of polish, the voice acting is superb and the characters are interesting. However, as an actual game, it's not as good as Team Fortress 2 pre-Valve destroying it with all the items. There are several design flaws, most particularly how it treats rounds and maps (having just one side attack is stupid, for example.) Also, some of the maps are poorly designed, though others are great so this isn't a huge negative.

I give it a 7/10.

keep that shield up when you actually have people advancing behind you and putting out damage

if shield's getting shredded by a Bastion sentry or turret, consider firestriking in their direction before your shield falls apart entirely. this can sometimes help your teammates realize where they should be focusing fire and dispatch the stationary threat before it takes your shield out

if someone is all up in your face, it's a good idea to surprise them with 1-2 hammer swings. especially satisfying if it's a tracer who is probably just going to walk through and harass you.

if you aren't exposed the whole way, you can walk a good ~20 meters under turret fire and make it to the turret with health left to kill the Torb and turret.

if another rein is charging you, charge him too, you'll both be knocked down and stunned, which is better than you alone taking the 300 damage.

the problem with overwatch is that save for a few exceptions like winston/widow, there isnt a single match-up that isn't heavily influenced by extraneous uncontrollable factors like enemy player skill and map.

You can switch all you want but if the tracer is good you will never touch her, you will never be able to properly zone her, and the only way you can kill her is if you catch her without dash charges in 76's ult or Mei's ult-- basically meaning that any deaths she has is entirely her fault.

Pubs become a lottery of skill, whoever has the more skilled players wins, doesn't matter how well you coordinate with inferior-skilled players, individually skilled players will just outplay the shit out of your attempts at coordination, hell a good Widowmaker will straight up just deny an area your team tries to push until somebody switches to Winston.

Alright /owg/, you gotta help me.

Due to physical constraints in my space, I am forced to have my left speaker on the right side of my desk, and my right speaker on the left side. The cables simply aren't long enough to have them positioned properly.

So this being the case, this means that in game, the sound comes out reversed. If someone is on my right, they sound like they are on the left. As we all are aware, sound is a very important facet of the game and knowing where people are via sound is insanely powerful. So not only does this setup I have not allow me to do this, but it actively throws me off because I hear people where they aren't actually, and can't hear people when they are actually approaching. I am sure you can see how this is a problem.

I want to reverse the sound. I don't care if it is a global fix that will reverse all sound that comes out of my computer, or if it is just Overwatch. I just need the sound that would normally come out of the left speaker to come out of the right, and vice versa. Does anyone know how to do this?

my aim with mccree is okayish, but i suck dick with 76. cant put my finger on what the problem is.

also, since my aim is not that good i prefer to play stuff like Rein, Winston and Mei. But sometimes I need to pick something offensive, what could i pick that doesnt require good aim?

Yes, provided the enemy team has more stuff you can counter like bastions, torb turrets, reinhardts that are blind to traps. Just be wary if they have a decent pharah, zarya, winston, roadhog, reaper, sniper, or 76 since you're pretty much outclassed if you go against them head on unless you're in a small corridor. He's fun to play as but has alot of counters that you have to look out for.

So close to being done with this game. Today I started with something like 13 played 8 wins in competitive, now its 29 played 12 wins. Every game is a fucking joke. The gold medals are to me or my friend every game. The teams are a bad joke, level 27s on Hanzo with 14 minutes played on him.

I feel so powerless. It doesn't matter what you do because the other 4 are retarded or "trying out" heroes in competitive. I'm not even getting any better with losses because there really is nothing I could do better except for turn into some sort of god.

The only thing I can do at this point is hope I don't get a stupid team but it's just not working. I seem to be getting the people that picked Hanzo or Genji all the time in quick play, now in competitive they're trying to make normal teams and have no idea what the fuck is going on.
