In winter 1944 the Syndicalists had crossed the Rhine and in summer 1944 the Entente launched a massive invasion to take back Britain. There is a 3 way Weltkrieg between the Entente, Syndicalists and the now crippled Mitteleuropa. The day is April 26th 1945 and the Syndicalists are are flooding into Berlin.
Heinrich, the newest chief member of the German Imperial Army general staff knocked desperately on the Kaiser's door.
"Kaiser! i have urgent news!" Exclaimed young Heinrich
It has been a hard 6 years for Kaiser Wilhelm II and every year it had become more apparent that he would lose this war. He never expected another Weltkrieg to break out, especially one that the German Empire would lose. Everyday it became harder and harder for the 94 year old to get out of bed and the crippling defeats the German Empire had taken to the Syndicalists and Entente had demoralized him and the rest of the nation horribly. He struggled to get out of bed this morning.
"Heinrich my boy, come in" said Kaiser Wilhelm II in an old, raspy voice
Heinrich opened the door in an urgent manner, his face was pale as a ghost
"Mein Kaiser! The syndies are inside the Reichstag!"
The Kaiser couldn't believe it. The Syndicalists weren't supposed to make it inside the Reichstag for the next week! He almost let out a tear but held it back. He knew what the Syndicalists had done to his cousins and the Pope.
"Nein" the Kaiser painfully mumbled under his breath
Heinrich left the Kaiser's room only to be shot in the hallway by a young French soldier. He painfully made his way back to the Kaiser's room.
"Mein Kaiser..... They're here....." said Heinrich in his dying breath grabbing on to Kaiser Wilhelm II
Kaiser Wilhelm II took Heinrich's Mauser from his cold dead hands. The Kaiser also took his Pickelhaube off his desk and placed it upon his head.

"I failed you, Germania" said the Kaiser to himself as he could hear the French soldiers outside.
There were 4 French soldiers down the hall. The Kaiser shot two, killing one and wounding the other.
"Retraite!" exclaimed one of the French soldiers. They had taken too many losses and were falling back to regroup.
The Kaiser knew they would be back with more troops. He knew there was no way out of this. He picked up a fuel canister being carried by one of the French soldiers he had just killed and took it back up to his room and emptied the fuel contained inside. He took a pack of cigars and a lighter off Heinrich's body and lit one. He then threw it into the fuel setting it ablaze. After this was done he sat himself in the corner of the room.
"I`m sorry, Germania." said the Kaiser in a somber voice
He put the Mauser into his mouth and pulled the trigger making him the last Hohenzollern to rule Germany.

I feel like it should be possible to balkanize Germany a lot more in HPM. All you can do is release some polish majority land

Getting Austria on your side is a bit weird, because the mechanics of the game definitely don't intend for that, but we made it work and it was fun giving Austria the rough borders of A-H. 10/10, would do it again.

I played the German (usually play USA or Japan) and I made the mistake of completely underestimating the importance of the airgame for the invasion of the UK and since AI Japan didn't do shit, the UK stands strong.

Also, this is a screenshot of another currently ongoing MP.
Players: USA, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Canada, Sovietunion.

War went as usual until Allies accepted Japan into the allies and USA declared war on them.
Peace conference (with a lot of work to avoid AI border gore) went down after USA invaded Japan and Germany invaded the UK. UK is now a puppet of the Germans and the Japanese are depending on their big brother USA. China is completely uninfluenced, gained some territory from their struggle against Japan and the allies and will now fight about which ideology is better.
India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa are now the remaining "Allies" that want to restore the crown in the UK (they won't, they're AI) while the new order in Europe might be disturbed by the Germans who want more land in the East, while the USA are preparing to free Europe with an exile government of France essentially being a puppet of the USA in Guiana.

The war between the Axis and MemeWarsNow will be a fight for the ages.

Question are Invasion event supposed to suck absolute dick? I have a Georgian Empire in Eastern Europe and Mesopotamia and the Mongols showed up and immediately try to invade my vassal Kingdom of Bulgaria but couldn't even make it past the Volga because Georgian curb stomp. I thought they went for Persia? Ghengis Khan to his firstborn son both died in battle and now his last son is screwing around attacking Nomads with only 10,000 event troops left and getting nowhere. I thought the Mongols were the final boss of the game?

I think the Mongol Empire's event troops are partially tied to the rulers. If Genghis got rekt early it might have cut off some of the event troop events, which could have led to others getting cut off, etc.
