I decided to go to stain to do some exploration and the loot was damn good. But every single person there had a killboard filled with exploration frigate kills.

I'm not him, but shitty experiments in shallow PVE shit are not contributing to the sandbox.

Dynamic PVE that's reliant on player interaction contributes and has some influence on the game world. Just tacking quest markers on existing content (roid belts, deds, etc) and adding a couple of new, stupidly simple and easy sites with poor immediate rewards and 0 long-term consequences doesn't help the sandbox.

My opinion is that the closest to good sandbox PVE are sleeper sites, FW and incursions, because all of them are rewarding in the short-run, highly dependent on interaction and made for groups, but also with consequences to the gameworld.

I learned by going there, losing ships, and learning what I did to make myself a target. Danger is fun. Sometimes you lose, but treat it as a learning experience. I'm not opposed to them working on PvE. I just think there are a lot of ways of doing it that are far more in line with EVE's design than this current release.

I will say that The Scope Network pings are something that could be cool. It's something that can be used to dynamically alter the value of certain content. I don't like the reward system and I don't like that the content is selected by CCP with no in game system in place for it.

I'd much rather see them work on a Scope Network system/ai that can create this type of shit from in game influences rather than orchestrated CCP events. Just like I'd like to see players farming rats reduce the bounty payouts, or reduce the amounts of rats spawning in that area ect. Everquest Next was going to implement an "Emergent AI" system that basically would alter where mobs and quests would spawn based on the players actions within the game. If players killed a bunch of orcs in an area then the orcs would pick up camp and go try and raid villagers and caravans elsewhere away from areas loaded with adventurers trying to buttfuck them for loot and xp.

PvE in this game is unfixable that's not even up for debate. THe best method, therefore, is to just remove it. make isk gathering a passive thing like PI.

Have deployables in belts that gather ore and shit like that.
