How do i make a proper build for it?

Rolled Ranger (i think i would be much better -off with Shadow). So far i've reached Cruel with it. Used one one Static Electricity jewel. Crit planned with almost 31% crit. Using Wrath aura and AA.

Tabula with Split Arrow and Barrage + Added Cold Dmg + FA + WED + Crit Chance.

I also plan to use Thunderfist to get some extra lightning dmg and a pseudo 5L for Barrage.

2 caveats with that:
a) your notion of entertainment and "playing" the game relies on the basis of any trace of difficulty having disappeared. if being able to suddenly faceroll t15 maps or whatever content your character is meant is fun, then you could derive the same level of entertainment from facerolling dried lake, or facerolling content you're 30 levels over.

b) why not pay for another game then? loot is a huge part of the appeal of arpgs. you play in the hope of finding good loot, selling it, getting better loot for your character so you can increase your chances of finding more good loot.
bypassing that entire process because it's not fun to you means you're playing the wrong game/genre.

your analogies don't work either. one might pay for netflix because it's convenience. no one wants to "work" to have the final product (entertainment provided by media). paying for time saved makes sense. paying so your 2-hour movie is condensed into a 10-minute short, not so much.

Tree at this current moment, there's some pathing that needs to be adjusted over the next few levels but it's mostly just all life and some crit multi from here on.
Weapon is 5.0 crit, which is why I'm going so hard for base crit (assassin, inc crit gem) to make that not quite so awful.
