Its ranges from average to enjoyable. Main problem is that the current writer loves foreshadowing events like 15+ issues in advance, and each time it has happened some out side bullshit comes in and screws everything up. We've had a Anniversary mini arc, megaman crossover, a fucking reboot, and another megaman crossover, and a several month delay have shitted all over the pacing of the comic.

Sonic Universe the side series that focuses on characters other than Sonic has been consistently good since it started and is home to some of the best comics by the current writer.

if you want some decent stories pre reboot read #160-161 jump to #171 then just read from there. You miss somethings from jumping forward ten issues ahead but most of that is the current writer cleaning up and organizing other writers bullshit. it all gets rebooted anyway.

Things liked forced werehog and constant crossovers are aggravating. I don't think I would do any better in his shoes, it's just symptomatic of the dysfunctional relationship between Archie and SEGA

That arc was stressful all around. I think it had some real impact as the Freedom Fighters were getting benched one by one, but I felt really dissatssfied with the way Ian handled Antoine.

He should've just thrown Antoine into a Roboticizer, or turn him into a cyborg like a wife. Watching Antoine spend a year in a coma was incredibly aggravating. I finally understood how Rotor fans felt.

Something that I would love to see (and makes perfect business sense, because I guarentee that the japanese would gobble this shit right up) would be an /e/ series with Rouge and Tails, inspired by some of the pics by warp-drive216's kinda awesome, yet far too pornographic, works. Mainly, because I love the non-h designs in general. Tails' oversized welding gloves are so adorable on him.

But yeah, I kinda want to see them make a risque, but not outright pornographic series with Rouge and Tails working together as a buddy-duo. Rouge being some master thief/ninja/spy with Tails as her young sidekick that makes all of her equipment and one day dreams of seeing her naked. Amazingly choreographed fight scenes, interspersed with rather titilating shenanigans. I think it could make for a fun little romp.
