Why do people still spout the whole melee is not technical bullshit?
Melee even has motions for moves, you know? But they're not as evident.
Example, doing an Up-air is simple pressing Up+A/C-stick Up while in the air, but depending how and where you do it, certain things change.
Example you can do a Shield Drop UpAir, which requires an extremely sensitive 632 motion (if you do it wrong you spot dodge) followed frame perfectly by C-stick Up preferably.
Or when you're at the ledge you can do a Ledge UpAir, which would vary depending on character. Some would need to do a 4+jump+6+Aerial, all in a matter of a couple frames. Some can even do aerials to regrab ledge, which is a 478+upAir as fast as possible or you miss your regrab (Ganondorf, for example).
And don't even get me started on the retarded bullshit of Spacies Pressure inputs.

In SFV I've noticed that I lose a lot in post air-to-air situations. If I air to air and we both hit our quickest normals, I usually lose. Am I mistiming it or am I at disadvantage when I land? Is it based on height? I usually hit under them.

So from what I understand about the SF lore Juri isn't actually evil. She is basically a darker version of Chun Li. Parents killed by Bison but she went "evil" to gain the power to take him down. Also how strong is Juri. The Feng Shuei Engine is basically limitless in power or is it a quick and massive power boost? Could she take on someone like Ryu or Sagat?

after 8 minutes it will timeout regardless of whether or not you're using it. i just reset it in between games of a set and have no problems.

if you're using it for home use it could be quite annoying but it has a ps3 mode so you can use that instead if you have a controller to sync it to.

well I've given skullgirls 8 hours of my time and I've decided it is a fantastically giant piece of shit, which is a shame because I'm a huge fan of mike zaimont and think he has more talent in his pinkie finger than the entirety of capcom has had since the 90s.

So, first of all, I fucking hate long combos with arbitrary execution. They're pointless barriers to learning (even if SG's are pretty easy), but more importantly they just slow the game down. I want to fucking take a nap when getting combo'd by a team of 3 with DHCs and shit. It's so, SO fucking boring. I'd rather take Marvel over this where at least people die fast.

Past that, I just cannot read *anything* in the game. I don't really understand it, I guess things blend too well... I'm tempted to say it's the animation, but it should be fine? GG is plenty readable and that runs at what.. 12 frames per second? But something about this (maybe it's the boringness of the combos, I stop paying attention) makes resets way, way too easy to land. They're already deadly of course but the inability to actually see what's going on (especially against double/big band) makes resets even worse. For as good as the art is I'd take SF2's art any day over this just for the clarity.

The other thing that really fucking kills me is assists. This might be the same case in Marvel but they feel a lot stronger here for some reason. Basically if I'm pressuring you your fucking assist should not be able to blow me up. The few moments I ever fucking get against a decent player my pressure is immediately disrupted by a fucking assist call. God FUCKING damnit.

I'm hesitating just a bit before uninstalling but is there any hope for me and this game? does anyone have some insight? I want to like this game, but fuck me.
