Except you can't really level your shield because you will throw away a lot of offense and attack speed (this used to be armor as well), but the EQR that you want to do mid game is the most important. So it still is not fixing Jarvan's issue with not being very tanky at all. Why is it so hard to put the armor they removed from his E into his armor scaling per level? Just buff armor scalings so that he gets 20 more armor at like level 14. I've been saying this ever since his E got nerfed a long time ago which made him unviable.

This so much. Solo top already has regressed back to the days were you NEED your jungler to be good otherwise you're done top with the current meta of top picks where you see the following a lot:

Darius, Irelia, yasuo, gangplank, Riven (to counter some), Illaoi, Wukong, Sion.

I did not include Vlad & Swain because they get hit pretty hard with the nerfs and Swain will very likely be pushed to mid lane and I'm not sure if Vladimir will remain viable, but definitely not as top laner with the nerfs.

Notice how on this list the only real tank that is viable is Sion? Sion also has a learning curve (you likely screw up the first 10 games you play with him), so he won't really be fotm like Maokai even when he was at 55-56% winrate last season for a few patches as best top his pickrate was very low. So yes with this champion meta on the top lane, top lane very likely will regress to a state of season 3 where you're completely reliant on your jungler doing good ganks the first 10-15 mintues into the game.

I'm also not really sure what Riot means with ''teleport ganks have no risk''. They do have a pretty big risk. If your teleport gank is somewhat succesful and you get one kill for your team then the enemy might be pushing your top lane. If you lose xp you get a level behind. With the current top lane meta being a level behind is that the enemy will try to freeze as much as possible and outfarm you. If you try to do something about it you get all in'd and killed or very low hp and forced back (in which case you still lose more xp and gold). You can't counter all in either because the enemy is much more powerful and will win.

This wasn't an issue with tanks, if you were a level behind you could still break freezes or farm without being killed (sure you would get outtraded and damaged badly but it would not be a game where you're always behind and not useful at all).

Pre 11 and pre CDR items the cooldown is so high that it is really foolish. It will destroy Sion's ability to counter all ins since if he does his combo at 6 it can easily do 70-80% off the enemy laner his hp.

I played Sion a lot his season at ELO diamond 5 - diamond 2 in EUW and he's really a lot of fun to play, the rework is amazing. It requires skill to play him and it also rewards if you use his abilities correctly. His abilities fit in with the theme and the abilities are also fun to play against. If I'm playing against Sion I feel like I have plenty of options to counterplay, while of course Sion has plenty of options himself.

Other then that I can't recall what was viable top lane. Mostly things that had 1: early mobility 2: very strong all ins. The mobility was mandatory due to no trinkets and the meta of completely overpowered at that time junglers like Zac who could camp you for a minute without losing much.

It made him less of a duelist, but he was fairly workable. It also gave him less of an ADC problem where he needed to finish his big first IE before he was legitimately dangerous.

Hey in last thread I was told that if I got gud I could easily carry 100% of all games up to gold 3, and that Morg could force early closes. I'm still interested in if anyone can give me replays so I can watch and learn a bit of what I'm not doing.

maybe when he could build tank and shit out damage but even if you could consistently proc sheen on Yi you'd still want to build on hit effects on him because his e and ult revolve around auto attacks

think of it like this. you probably could build crit on irelia and succeed because she has auto attacks but in the end she's still an ad caster and benefits from TF. in the end yi is all auto attacks

You can have enough gold and the right mindset, but sometimes your team just isn't strong enough due to stupidity, honest mistakes and the enemy team being better than you.

With Morg, just pick people and waveclear. That's it.

I started playing during August s5, and got placed silver2. I quickly realized that everyone around me suffer from downs syndrome. This was evident by the fact that many of these fuckings sub-human monkeys have played this game for years and still suck dick at it. By not being retarded, I quickly realized that if I wanted to be surrounded by non-retards, I had to get good. So now I'm in season6, currently plat1, and I'm still surrounded by fucking retards. When I reach challenger, maybe I won't be surrounded by retards, but for now, there are retards everywhere, and you just deal with them by hardcarrying. Fucking git gud mang, it's the only way.
