Yeah, at the time the "skype clique" was only a skype chat meant to gather people who jumped ship from the OG limit RO guilds and frequented the /a/&/v/&/jp/ threads.
Of course only a "few" people joined, but we had a blast and to be honest we never really partook in shitposting.

It was until the "big players" that people know about and immediately identify as part of "clique" joined that shitposting and attention whoring ran rampant at the general.

There was never a master plan to fill /rog/ with shitposting, the "clique" was never one thing it grew and branched out and even other people created their own "cliques".
It was just the life cycle of every general with no new flowing content or OC.They will always end up being filled with name/trip-fags and rampant circle jerking drowning actual in a cesspool of bad jokes and the occasional "I'm so funny guy" false flagging insults against all servers just to see some "chaos".

Coexistence between servers is possible in this general, peaceful discussion of in-server events can happen, talking about the newest K-RO updadates should be a normal ocurrence, but the posters' mentality has to change.

People need to stop being baited/trolled/triggered so easily, this has caused the fall of too many /rog/ guilds, so many "leaders" who actually knew their shit getting butt-blasted by an unruly guild of anons who are just that, a bunch of strangers in the internet.

Relatively speaking... the more niche the build, the more expensive it is to gear to efficiency.

SS cards and a decently upgraded weapon probably wouldn't be worth it on a bp unless you're planning on sticking with the character.

Crit smith is somewhat the same and a lot more efficient with adrenaline rush/zerk pots/higher damage overall.

Some of the auras you see around are just indicating that the user has the donation boost on. You'll see some novice in the training grounds with auras because of it. It confused me too when I started. Normal level 99 auras are more rare.

The reward points you get every hour of playing can be used for buying Healing potions/Grape Juice/Field Manuals/Job Manuals.

HP pots use 1 reward point and GJ 2. You'll get 10 points for the 1st hour, 20 points for the 2nd and etc. 80 for the 8th hour and then it resets back to 10 points. That's why people sit in towns so much.

It makes leveling easier tho~

Your build is weird.

You have fireball but no firewall

You have safety wall
You level 1 Frost Diver but level 10 Jupiter Thunder, if you wanted to JT frozen shit you don't rely on Storm Gust to freeze a single target.

It's preference but I prefer not taking safety wall because it eats up a lot of points.

Firewall level 4, 15 points to get, Vertical Firewalling is ez.

Safety Wall level 10, 24 points, that's HALF your first job.

Is there any way to always disable the item comparison feature? It is like they heard other games had them so they put it in, but had never seen one before so all it is terrible. Then, they don't account for how you sell items in RO and it just gets in the way.

Not sure if it's avaiable on all the servers, but in Aeva's client there is a "Compare Item" checkbox to enable or dissble it, both on the inventory window and on the options iirc.
And yeah, the idea is good, but is really badly implemented to the point is more annoying than usefull (like most of RO's GUI anyway).

It's not my intention to solo the entire game, but come on can you really say you're never ever ever going to solo anything at all? Like imagine I need X card, or X item, or money to buy those, do you really think everyone is going to go with me to farm the shit they don't need?

Reason I didn't pick firewall is most forum posts say the moment you become wizard the skill becomes useless while safety wall will be good forever, I'm not sure how true that is, I've played wizard before but I gave up because the only thing I remember is draining all my mana in 10 seconds with soulstrike and dying before I could cast any bolt to smokies and other basic shit like that.

I'm not in any rush to see late maps or anything this time, and I always felt like I failed at wizard and could only play shitty agi classes that don't get hit, so I wanted to try that out and maybe actually group grind and be helpful, but considering the lowish rates I don't want to fuck up the build and I don't intend to level more than 1 character.

Firewall is pretty much non negotiable. Whoever said you don't use FW after wiz is fucking terrible at this game. Stings, Prison, Alarms (& Clocks for mage) and many other places will demand you use FW. Stings drop Glove [1] so plan on grinding lots of them.
