I used to debate if Metal Gear Solid V or Mass Effect 3 were the most disappointing game of my life. Like, I'd seriously sometimes just wonder which one managed to completely let me down on every level harder.

So, in a way, I'm almost glad that Zero Time Dilemma has turned out the way it has.

It was balanced and the characters were pretty likable. Mystic Chronicles was shit, Machine Knight was mediocre and Asdivine dios ranged from bland as fuck to mediocre. I know I played a couple of more from them but all were pretty bad and forgettable. Honestly, only End of Aspiration strike me as decent.

Not from Kemco, but I also found out Skyforce Unite last month and I really like it. Reminds me of Metal Max but with planes and helicopters.

I started playing with Vanilla, and play time carries over, so I can't give a very good estimate for how long it would be if you started with Kiwami, but my guess is at least 300 hours if you know what you're doing, and have help getting through it. You need to complete all the online and offline missions, build every weapon of your favorite weapon type, and collect every drop from every boss. There are some skill-based trophies that are nasty (Long Live the King requires you to fight a max-difficulty boss without any teammates or armor), but mostly it requires time. I think the game is good enough to make that time enjoyable though. Try it out and see what you think of the game before deciding to go after the plat.

Gauntlets are my favorite for singleplayer. They have the best defense, close to the highest damage (club is highest), and every move they do is useful. Almost all of the weapon types are great. I would just recommend against using knives because they are low damage, and spear because it doesn't have much variety. Both of those are good in multiplayer though, since knives can spam destroyer attacks, and spear can stop charging bosses.

well i figure its a conscious and plot-related choice to make a glossy generic high school setting, but i still find it very bland.
especially the very simple matching grey school outfits.
and while it is very striking, the magenta everywhere is not appealing to me.
i wonder if extremely stark and blown out character art is not just a simple case of anime dollface, but is an attempt to mirror the sort of beauty shot that high schoolers take where they blast the contrast to remove blemishes. it would be an interesting way to visually communicate the idealized HS setting. i might be reading too much into that though.

The setup I use for gauntlets is Saito Dosan, Serizawa Kamo, and Honganji Kennyo. It's a DCT build that increases the effect of flame punches, increases flurry speed, and increases the damage flurry does to burning targets.

Basically, you use DCT Puncture to weaken a target, use flame punch to weaken the same target even further, and then do tons of damage with flurry. DCT might not be the obvious choice for gauntlets, but allies increase the unity gauge whenever they attack punctured parts, or attack while inside Illusion. If you have the mitama for it, it's worth a try.

Fearsome Hands are probably the best gauntlets in Vanilla. You will need to bring Kanon Skyfists and Raiden Tame'emon to Shikimi to have her make Unrivaled Hands, then forge them again with Nomi no Sukune.

Forging costs half as much in Kiwami, so you may want to get that game first before farming money to forge weapons.

There's also a Vanilla-only tactic that works for gauntlets. Use ATK style and two or three mitama with Fervor. Knock down a boss, use Carnage, then attack with flurry. Carnage will make all of your strikes crit, and Fervor will give you stamina every time you crit. This will let you keep doing your flurry attack until Carnage runs out, and it was the highest DPS in Vanilla.

Zombies is conflicting for me. The concept of zombies themselves are boring, but I love the themes that come with it. Not knowing who to trust, brotherhood, suspense, etc. HS settings are the same way. Sure the setting itself isn't anything new, but it can bring about some lovely feelings. Like wanting to protect the characters you (hopefully) love.

For example, I grew attached to damn near everyone including the NPCs in Tokyo Xanadu, so all that shit happening hurt.

Two separate games; the only thing Resurrection lacks that Rage Burst has is Blood Rage(only available second half of game) and blood arts. They made up for it with Predator arts, which allow you to consume on the move and gain various buffs. Overall, both were great games.

Well the stories are different (Resurrection takes place before GE2RB). GE2RB has Blood arts and Blood Bullets while GER has Predator styles, I'm sure there are some small differences in the list of aragami each one has but I can't remember which ones are missing from which game.

I remember like a year ago I was on a bus going to my friends house. I was playing with my Vita since it was a long ass ride when suddenly I hear some nigger yelling at the bus. I got scared and put my Vita in my backpack in case he was going to hold up passengers on the bus. I held my bag fucking tightly. Fortunately, he didn't get on the bus, and we rode away from him. Probably the scariest moment of my Vita being in danger. I very much value this precious thing.

Don't worry about the guide, just make save points whenever you have to send any emails that will ruin lives and don't send them first. You'll get most of the endings that way and it takes very little work to get the last one which actually needs a guide

There is a bunch of shit to do in the middle and early chapters for small trophies like collecting wallpapers or anime summaries. Wait until you clear some routes on your own before replaying the first few chapters 3 times over.

Freedom Wars is kind of meh for me so far. Haven't gotten very far in it yet though. It's my only game I have aside from Luminous (which I love) for my Vita. I really hope there are some non-arcade games that I can get in to on the Vita.

I hated FW the first time I tried to play it, but once you're done with the really shitty first 3 chapters the pacing stops being THAT bad, you begin getting a good variety of weapons and so on.

I enjoyed it quite a bit since it wasn't what I was expecting, which was a MonHun ripoff with guns, but rather a pretty cool third person shooter with fun enemy design that stops being frustrating once you get the hang of the controls and the mechanics. Too bad the shitty story it forces down your throat ends up bringing things down a little bit.

If you want more arcade shit for your Vita then the DJMAX for the thing is a port of the arcade version of the same name, and though using the rear touchpad takes some getting used to, it's pretty much the best rhythm game on the Vita and really addicting if you get into it. If not, maybe try something like Tales of Hearts, Disgaea or Dungeon Travelers 2? I dunno.
