Yeah the later parts feature very huge maps and I guess 20 fps is kinda unavoidable sometimes. For the most part it's fine in my opinion, but I wouldn't recommend it if you can't stand low fps sometimes.

Odin Sphere is more like muramasa but you have more skills accessible at all times, in Muramasa you only have three swords equipped at any time you can switch between but they each only have one skill. The DLC characters have 3 different weapons/forms instead of swords.

I-d say it-s more repetitive by the reason that while the concept behind the combat and the spellcasting are cool, the monster variety isn't as high as in something like 4U, the combat isn't nearly as satisfying nor requires as much preparation and the story segments get old pretty fast and you don't really need them in a hunting game.

The 30 hour slog in SSD stems more from the fact that as the game begins placing limits on you sooner or later the whole thing gets pretty old, but I guess your mileague may vary since I fucking love MH and didn't really enjoy SSD all that much.
