It literally is marginal. The crit rate is pretty nice, but that's basically it. If you want HP, you can get similar amounts on other necklaces. Other necklaces give more damage. Other necklaces give similar SPR. Sure, Petamion gives them all in one package, but aside from the crit rate, they barely mattered anyways. 1k HP? 14 Attack (which you can get more of on other necklaces)? A bit of accuracy / evasion, a bit of MP? Sure, it's basically the best necklace in the game, but necklaces fucking suck. Getting the effects of 5 necklaces isn't worth 10m when any one of those necklaces individually is worth maybe 200k.

Different anon here, I usually taunt and stay behind DPS but infront of healer. usually i make it my duty to use my knock back skills to prevent them from reaching the healer while pushing them towards the DPS. no one has complained about this before but I feel like it keeps my knock back from messing up the DPS.
should i just turn off the knock back attributes and join the front lines instead or is my current play style fine?

Blocking increases Umbo Blow damage to be somewhat worthwhile. That's basically it.

Also blocking increases Block and Defense by a large amount, so it's good against big crowds of physical damage enemies or against bosses if you don't want to move out of the way of an attack - the most efficient way to deal damage as a Pelt is to stand still and tap C whenever an attack is about to hit you. Moving wastes precious DPS time. Which doesn't matter, because you're a Swordsman and don't have DPS.

A perfectly funded str player will outdamage a pefectly funded dex player 100% of the time.
Even without super significant funding however, str still outdamages dex by 20~% at level 280.

Ofc you lose out on survivability from dex so its up to you how you stat it.

So i am doing my homeworks and i got poisons don't crit but scales on physical attack which is boosted by either STR and weapon enchancing but going STR/CON will make me lose both evasion and crit for the other circles like Musketeer/Cannoneer which if i got it right seems to benefit more from heavy DEX builds.
Tl;Dr: if i make a poison master who snipe fags with a musket too should i roll for full DEX with some CON to not get killed by a single attack or an hybrid like DEX/STR 2:1 is better on the longer run?

If you're set on Musketeer + Wugushi. Wugu3 isn't fantastic and Rogue means you have a high crit rate without needing to dump into DEX, so you'll be able to dump into STR for good poison.

The Ranger circles can be whatever, but Steady Aim carries over well into Musketeer because you can actually use it with Rifles, and Barrage + Feint will be a nice little bonus damage combo while you grind to R7. Crit Shot's okay with high STR.

If you intend to do world boss competitively (which is one of the main end game and the main reason to make fletchers) you'll want 50% attributed max level magic arrow with full str.

A2r1s1f3 is the standard due to crit rate and movement speed needed in world bossing

a1r3f3 is the "pure damage" variety that has more levels in barrage, means you're less effective in every world boss not named dulla

All other fletcher builds are meh

Basically guaranteed crits from behind. The incredibly solid Barrage + Feint combo. Steady Aim for 20% extra damage when you need it. The incredibly solid Backstab, which gets even more solid with Karacha - it becomes basically a 600% + 1500 skill from behind, with Overcharge 2 and a 10s cooldown. Obviously that relies on having Karacha, but 200% + 1500 isn't bad either. All of this for the rest of forever. One good R8 and all of those Musketeer / Cannoneer / Fletcher builds are done for.

And we know that Hackapell is planned, specifically focused on Dagger + Crossbow.

I dunno. I guess it's the same way people don't go Rodelero despite how overwhelming it's going to be in the future.

This. I've theorycrafted some insane builds. Stuff with ridiculous damage conditions, make you bend over backwards to achieve them. Stuff that does way more damage than any build I've ever made or any human being could ever actually accomplish reasonably. Fletchers don't level up at all because they lose critical %. As soon as they have Fletcher C3 unlocked they max out the only skill that matters with the 5 skill points saved and then start farming and dumping money into the attributes.

Any level 280 fletcher is pathetic damage.

They don't have consistent damage just OP burst. Fletcher is a weak fucking class once they have used their skill they literally sit there and hit Barrage and AFK.

Yeah, this is correct though. But you'd be better off with high STR in the long run since crit rate falls off at later levels. There was even a post way back showing that going pure STR doesn't deviate much with hybrid stat distribution or even pure DEX simply because having constant high damage output is better than critting a few times in prolonged duration. You could argue that the statistics didn't take enemy evasion vs your accuracy, but that'd probably another topic some other time.
