only uthas/holo were officers. They weren't doing any administrative/gbank roles, they were just in officer because they were part of the 'original core' before the main core we had for raid, if that makes sense.

If you're not retarded, there is no reason to roll anything in vanilla besides warrior, rogue, mage and priest.
Those are literally the only finished classes with coherent class design.
Every other class is only playable due to metagaming players finding niches for them. Remove those classes, and the game wouldn't fundamentally change, because they're just sub-sets of other classes with various gimmicks.
Anyone who plays any other class is an ultimate putting up with unfinished gameplay elements.
