Since many people agree that Azir's ult is the most cancerous part of his kit, I have come up with a new ult for him.

R - TOMBSTONE
Cost: 100 mana
Cooldown: 180/120/60
Range: 800

Passive: Azir gains 1% of attack speed for every 1% of CDR that he has

Active: Azir summons a coffin that will enclose
any target champion. For 1/2/3 seconds, that champion is removed from play (untargetable/in stasis, similar to Lissandra's ult). After the duration, the coffin explodes, dealing 200/400/600 + 100% AP magic damage to it and all champions within 800 range.

That's what I was referring to though, how Mordekaiser's kit fails to convey his theme of ruler of an undead legion.

That said, while I definitely want him to be less of a stat check like Trundle and Kayle, "DO DAMAGE = BE UNKILLABLE" is one of my favourite aspects of current Morde. It'd be almost impossible to keep all of his current qualities his (tiny) playbase loves him for and give him a thematically fitting kit.

I mean, hell, Morde's E is the most vanilla, nothing ability in the game, but I'd hate to lose it because it's such amazing lane harass.

I think if we're ever gonna see Morde in a balanced healthy state whenever he's good, the Damage=Tankiness mechanic is going to have to be significantly altered or even outright removed.

It is the BIGGEST factor in why he is so damn feast/famine and frustrating to play against while also gimping the rest of his kit. His base stats have to be absolutely laughable as a Juggernaut just because of the existence of his passive and it forces him into a catch 22 of if I don't build enough damage I die extremely quickly but if I do I die extremely quickly to focus fire.

Lissandra's ult is busted as fuck because it makes her untargetable and heals her while still dealing damage to the enemy team, but it doesn't make any enemy targets untargetable, which is one-sided and broken as fuck in that sense.

This new ult will legit make people think about how to use their abilities and how to position. Think about it. Azir's current ult allows him to deny dives unless you have flash, and even then, if you fuck up your flash then you're totally screwed. With his new ult, he can either ult the target OR himself, but he'll have to think about what happens next because if he dives or gets dived, one target isn't going to be taking damage for a certain amount of time, but after that time passes, all champions around that target (including that target) will take damage.

It's a whole lot better than the mess known as his current ult is.

I actually had an idea combining aspects of new Sion's E and Varus' Q, where Mordekaiser could charge up a swing and then send the enemy hit flying backwards into other enemies or terrain for damage. Mostly to capitalize on the whole "giant mace" aspect, because I think auto attack modifiers are lazy filler abilities. You could bat minions through the wave and into the enemy laner, or just smack the enemy laner themselves, complete with bonus damage and stun if they crash into terrain like a Poppy tackle but without the dash aspect. Do stupid plays like flashing to the other side of the enemy laner and sending them careening into your own turret where they'll be stunned and take 2-3 free shots from it.

Voice chat is always a necessity in any team-dependent game that you cannot always carry by yourself.

Buff timers don't fucking matter, memorizing it was an extraneous skill that is really unnecessary. Having them be available is great for the game, the only change I suggest is if the team sneaks it that its not announced to the enemy team, and they only can see the timer if they go over to the objective.

If I had any other options for suggestions, use the shield ult not as a knock back but as a wall similar to Jarvan's for Azir only, however instead of being a giant crater, be the shield soldiers meant to keep people out. He can still be hit by abilities but at least his soldiers are protecting him from the threats around him while still creating area denial (the area within 200 or so units around himself)

It doesnt do damage but at least disengages melee champions while still protecting him from approach to close range stuff.

You need to go mallet immediately after bloodrazor, literally every game. lets you get your maximum dps off, as well as peel and it's stats spike super hard mid-early game. It's also not super expensive and has a good build path. The problem with bloodrazor titanic tank is that your damage falls off rediculously hard late game. Shvyana doesn't really benefit from tank stats too much, it's better to stack hp and ad, while getting some resistances along the way. Svhyana is a melee bruiser carry, not a tank, there's a reason that build in particular has like a 48% winrate or something.

Well Vayne's knock back is targetted, instant, and ranged. If Mordekaiser's knock back was a charged melee range skillshot you'd have justification for making it stronger and go farther than Vayne's or Poppy's (if damage and distance were proportional to charge time of course). You could peel by knocking enemies away, and you could harass or clear waves by knocking enemy minions into enemy champions.

It just feels stupid to have such a massive club deliver an ordinary auto attack, even if said AA does a fuck ton of damage. Since you're giving him a new source of waveclear you could then justify dropping his E. Morde's E has always been the most boring aspect of his kit. It's literally just damage in a cone and has never made sense thematically.
