If you're in a cave you will guaranteed not make it in time for any freshly spawned rare even if you haul ass with draenor flying.

Where's the fucking middle ground? God dammit, seriously?

Why not make the blood moon just need like 50 of those crystal things to make it spawn, and for the other rares, give the players a 90 second heads up prior to them spawning?

It's either full blown autism status of draining 10,000 blood points, or the mobs getting instant ganked.

There's really nothing pleasant about this zone.
I understand that realm hopping can help but that's a shit solution that should not be needed in the first place. Imagine if crossrealming rares was impossible.

Timeless Isle was better. If you were on high ground, you'd pretty much make any rare with a glider, in combat or not. And baddies would be getting one shot by dodge-able mechanics so it was always a good laugh.

Is there any reason to ever farm Heroic Dungeons in this expansion?

This is shit because it only encourages one dungeon, then the reward goes away for subsequent dungeons and they're entirely worthless to farm.

>Inn Quests
These are good at first, but still only encourage two a day. Once you get all/most of the toys the rewards from those become shit as well. The "containers" you get after the original reward is given just give you like 30 gold or 30 gold's worth in mats.

>Iron Horde Scraps
This seems to be the only somewhat long lasting reason to do ever farm them, but since the rewards are account wide there's like zero reason to continue it (on an account wide level) once you get the mog gear.

I don't see why they got rid of these. These were great.
Even during the last few weeks of previous expansions Dungeons always remained relevant. Now of course they always died off as a primary way to gear your toon but they never truly became obsolete.

Even if you were in full BiS gear you always got something out of doing dungeons unless you truly did a fuck ton of them, and had no alts. JP could be used to purchase old expansion gear for transmog, or buying current expansion BoEs, converting to Honor, buying profession mats, buying and upgrading heirlooms, and reputation. And once you finally got everything, you could help friends out with their JP farming, and have them return the favor for when you needed to farm some on your alt.

Now there's none of that shit. At all.
And all the old JP stuff including heirlooms is purchased directly with gold.
What the fuck.

I wouldn't really care but there's such a lack of content this expansion I'm trying to find things to do, and I miss doing dungeons... and miss having them feel rewarding even more.

Timewalking could have been pretty cool but it only comes around whenever the fuck it feels like it.

If you didn't know, Heroic is new "normal" and Mythic dungeons are the new "Heroic". So those if want to farm, farm those 8/8 weekly.

The point is the satchels usually only last for one dungeon. You queue up and by the time you're finished the next dungeon you do won't give you anything.

This is pure fucking shit. And it's closer to 600g + the extra items btw. Instead of giving 600g occasionally they should make them more interesting to begin with, and nerf that satchel.

If the tokens you purchased for 5K crystals were BoA they could be decent, farm for them on your main and mail them to an alt, but they don't work that way.

Yeah you can, and there's stuff to help you, but it's still not in your control.

You can't just do them when you like, you have to be ready to drop what you're doing and do the dungeon when it becomes available, and it's hard to form a group to farm for them when not everyone gets the satchel.

1) You get 1 chest with random epic gear piece once a week for doing 4 events + 1 boss kill;
2) You get 1 chest with random blue gear piece every time you kill a boss;
3) You get green chests for doing events and turning-in body parts (orc tooth, hair etc) that you loot from enemy players - those can contain green gear, but mostly it's gold;
4) You should turn-in all your artifact fragments at your base to receive honor points in exchange. You get most fragments from killing rare mobs around the map and elite mobs at the Ring of Conquest. Just don't stack them too much as you loose half if you are killed by a player.
5) Run with your raid and complete events, kill boss. The quest for 4 events + 1 boss kill is repeatable and awards 750 conquest points every time.

We did all sorts of fun things - from MC, ZG, ZF and all the other alphabet letters thrown into the mix. We had a great time. Since Cata I haven't had time to organize and raid like I once did and now I play by myself doing PvE questing and fishing because often I have to leave at a moments notice so I can't raid anymore. Does that mean the game sucks now? No.

Has the game gotten easier? Perhaps. Or it could be that you have gotten better with experience and are not looking at this from the eyes of a youngling just starting off.
