Its an alright thing, the first one felt a lot less animu and more grounded (especially with regards to villains and tech) until the final dungeon. Combat feels better though and I have a feeling once I get going the animu will die down a bit

First ones villains were organised criminals, rich businessmen and aspects of the military, this one's villains are a secret society of people with anime hair that seem to made up of people similar to the Homunculi from Full Metal Alchemist

Theres giant morphing robots in the intro video and one of the new main characters is a hip priest with green anime hair.

Seems fun though and hopefully it'll mellow out as I get further away from the prologue.
