KOF XIV gets some hype because it actually seems to be solid, doesn't shit on KOF fundamentals like some newer iterations of other sagas have done, and the characters have really fun stuff to do judging from the footage we have seen.

And what SNK did promoting the game was great, they simply flooded us with so much quality info and managed to turn around a terrible start with that laughable first trailer.

The only thing that annoys me is how silent they are about online. I have the feeling that they are going to fuck it up yet again.

So I use a regular PS4 pad for fighting games and I've been using the analog stick whenever I play on any console but I noticed that my inputs are cleaner and more accurate when I use the dpad but I'm not totally comfortable with it and it makes my thumb feel weird but should I stick with learning dpad or just continue on the analog stick?

Your best bet for modern sticks right now is the Hori RAP4 since its cheaper than the madcatz one and the stick is better imo (and yest it works on pc as well). However the buttons are a bit sticky but they aren't hard to switch out.

Personally I would say get a Quanba stick, but they haven't made one for PS4/Xbone yet
