illaoi has seen some recent popularity, and as someone that mains mage supports, i just tell people to stop fighting her, esp past laning phase, and let me and the adc deal with her. she literally does nothing against ranged with snares. also, grievous wounds is really important if anyone does any significant amount of healing at all (read: half the time there's at least 1 on the other team). MORTAL REMINDER should be the default arpen item rather than ldr, and people should be building a quick executioner's calling when they need it (like how qss is built as needed) instead of building lw-item fourth or never.

He has no CC outside of ult therefor is useless in comp play. CC is valued above almost all else because it enables easy kills and pick offs and even if you fall behind in damage your still useful.

From game forums to reddit, everyone would call her underpowered. People dodging when they saw your pick or enemies saying "ha this lane will be easy" was very common.
And the funniest thing is that I don't recall any significant buffs/nerfs on her, other than some bugfixes with stacking passives.

Laning phase is boring as all hell and in teamfights your almost always the first to get picked off because LOL NO MOBILITY so you dont even get to run wild.

Jinx only feels sporadic and Jinxy when you hit 2.5 AS while still in rocket mode thanks to get excited and you run down anyone stupid enough to look at you funny.
