Depends what you're looking for.

If you want a game where you want to farm day in and day out running the same dungeon 100 times a day to maybe afford your next weapon upgrade. BNS is your thing

If you want to run the same dungeons 100 times over the course of 4 weeks to either farm for your VM or farm mats to sell for gold then Tera is for you

The two games have two entirely different gear progressions. BnS you upgrade the weapon you get from lvl 7 all the way till the end unless you want to go an expensive route. The game is really gold and grind heavy. Everything revolves around gold so you will never have a stockpile of it unless you're geared out.

In Tera its the standard, you run a dungeon for gear drops, you enchant that gear, but you can also go the bit more expensive route and craft the best gear using materials that drops in dungeons. Once you have decent gear you can just start farming gold till you get bored.

Both games lack endgame content, and Tera is only showing its light at the end of the tunnel in korea as im writing this message, but its coming.. BnS i personally only played for the story and have yet to actually finish it cus i cant be bothered to log back in to the game

Look in the first links pastebin for the Tera optimization guide. It will probably help out a lot ESPECIALLY for party/group combat situations.

Other than that, there's not much else you can do but to lower graphics if it continues to be a debilitating issue, but the optimization guide should make you only have to reduce your preset to 3 instead of 0.

Yeah, I've had my sorc for 3 years (or has it been 4 years?) So I'm pretty excited for the changes. Bosses in this patch are a bit annoying to me with current sorc, especially when compared to ninja, but a kind anon gave me some advice this morning and my sorc dps went up by like 300k on Verno, able to compete with some dread/slaughter ninjas and a slaughter/imp mystic in guild while I have dread+old jewelry so I'm pretty happy about that at least and might start putting in a lot more effort on sorc and stick with it.

I couldn't tell you the exact increase but it's important enough that starfall isn't really even worth having if all you're going to do is have it at +12, while +15 SF weapon compares to imperator close enough that if you'd have trouble getting imperator it almost wouldn't be worth the effort for the upgrade currently, depending on your viewpoint.

Basically if you're looking into getting starfall but you're unsure about going past +12, don't, just get slaughter.
If you already have +12 starfall then you're kinda throwing away your investment by not going +15

Same guild. I honestly can't stand guild hoppers. Game's dead as fuck. I get excited when new people join my guild. When they make an alt the next day and it's in another guild, it feels like someone's stabbing me in the chest with a dull knife. It's even worse when they talk about how dead their new guild is, or when they ask members of my guild to do content with them because their new guild isn't willing to help them gear up. It's just like, why even stay in a guild like that at that point.

I can add to this a bit. I agree with everything you said, but what really gets to me is the idea of it all. Someone joins your guild, but then also wants to interact with another guild. Was the first guild not good enough? Because that's what it seems like, and if that's the case, why not just leave and find a guild better suited to you? Honestly I'd rather know that someone left because the guild genuinely wasn't enough of a fit for them, and hopefully maintain a friendship with them outside of guilds, than to know that they're only really leaving a main in your guild because they feel it's "necessary". I mean to me, when I find a guild that I like, I dedicate myself to that guild. I love the people in it and I make them a part of my daily life. If not, then I go elsewhere. Nobody wants to be around someone that is only half-interested in the community they have, and nobody that is only half-interested should limit themselves to a guild that doesn't complete them.
