You need a specific set up of perks, one that only activates when you rescue someone and lasts for like 3 minutes but while you have that buff and the other perks, you absolutely 100% heal up without a medkit, faster than the killer takes to wipe his blade unless he has unrelenting

That's correct. The game should have been designed so that it would function with communication and teamwork and not collapse when more than one survivor has two brain cells to rub together.

Forget communication and friendship, take 4 survivors that know to spread out the generators, and know to only partially power them. They win. Period. The game is fundamentally poorly designed to the extent that it only works when you force it into a zero communication, strangers only mode while selling it as a multiplayer game full of thrills and fun stories, something people expect to be able to do with their friend.

Alright shitposters, I'll try to bring some constructive ideas into this mess of a discussion, since you are clearly incapable of it. (or capable but want to shitpost for the sake of shitposting)

Friendly lobbies are allowed, but you can't get more then 1 friend in them. If you want more friends with yourself, then play KYF.This way you still have somewhat disorganised survivors, a team that consists of 2 miniteams. Since survivors will be communicating with their buttbuddies in every game using Skype and whatnot, survivors get some serious nerhammer smacking. Progress on generators slowly degenerates to a certain threshold to prevent 99% finished generators scattered around the map. When survivor is on the hook he can't hear killer's heartbeat/music. His screen turns black, he sees only auras of other survivors, noises/exit alerts and his own health. This way you won't have survivors reporting killer's location 24/7. Having alternative gamemode could also make friend parties possible, but Im too lazy to think of one and I'll leave it to you "muh friend party" defenders.

So, how do you actually win as killer? It doesn't seem possible because the odds are so out of your favour.

Trapper is the only person I've had luck with but 80% of my traps go untouched no matter where I put it, they never fall for window traps unless I chase them into them which is never because they're gone by the time I find them.

They can unhook their friends as if it were nothing at all and If I leave them there then they always break free, if I try to put a trap under them someone will zip in and unhook them in 0.2 seconds before the trap is even up.

I had some fun with The Wraith, it's easy to find and mess with people using the meme bell but it also means that they are ready for you 100% of the time and you take forever to unclock so it's pretty much useless.

It's hard enough to catch people because I keep getting stuck with running perk players.

It's really disheartening losing every match and watching people exit camp to tease you.

You win by not being utter shit. Put traps in small chokepoints leading to generators or where survivors run to get away from you. One that never fails for me is to put one next to the pallet in the jukeshack. First few levels as killer are hell until you get some decent perks that at least let you stomp on survivors who aren't running self heal/sabotage/sprint memebuilds. Also, when you're putting a trap under a hook, just let go of right click if you hear someone running up. You'll cancel the trap animation and spring upright, usually in time to at least see where that wounded fuck from the hook is trying to run to.

This has to be done preemptively, if you try to trap it while survivor is there, he'll just run away and lose you. Also some places require more than 1 trap.

Chainsaw is useless, since you will not get a clear straight path to a survivor ever. Wraith can't do anything at all in that situation.

With Hillbilly, you're supposed to keep motioning as if you're going to charge him on one side of the window, with the chainsaw almost fully charged. Eventually he'll screw up and jump prematurely. This wouldn't be a problem if you were a trapper or a wraith but the hillbilly can rush him before he can jump again.

Is it better to use saboteur with or without a toolbox?

Without you get the benefit of infinite use, with you get the benefit of increased speed and more efficiency than normal

Chainsaw while beeing reved gives you speed reduction - I dont know numbers, but its noticeable - like 20-30%. So its fairly hard to lineup chainsaw hit at some places, again, magical bus which requires you to circle around. Most of the time you won't be able to punish survivor for jumping preemptively.

The only killer I could see doing well there is the trapper after trapping all three windows and forcing her onto the other sides window which is slightly closer to a door I might be able to juke her into.

There was also another survivor but, I managed to catch her. This one was just impossible.

Survivors can actually run from the far corner window, and then out the window across from those 3, you can't maneuver around the building quick enough to catch people, and they can casually sit behind that car, and can easily see where your approach is from, even if you've fully charged the chainsaw they can just hop out the window on one side if you go up the other side of the truck. I know, because I've done this as a survivor. In fact when that spawns in autohaven I usually go there to grind boldness so I can just peace out eventually and get 10k bloodpoints for my pip by boldness/survival and like, high fiving a survivor at some point. Unless you're lagging, or just going to chase me for like 10 minutes until my entire team gets every gen, you can't touch me. It's fucking stupid and needs to be fixed.

I'm already close to that but fuck this fucking grind when they could have fixed that already with a simple item price reduction. It's already hard enough to get a match going at rank 1 without some sissy killer disconnecting or it's pairing high ranked high level survivors with some poor rank 20 killer so of course they quit.

I finally got another match going without 3 R20L1 Dwights but some fucking retard survivor kept following me, then banged a genny fucking twice and still followed me like some faggot starving puppy so shaking the killer was a lost cause with him in the way constantly or showing himself and I just fucking rage dc'd right there. Impossible to play with other less retarded higher rank players and newbies are a massive pain in the ass and do this fucking following shit when they shouldn't or get killed in the first 2 minutes.

What people fail to realise is that problem lies not within savescuming assholes like >>146364342, although it does not make them less of an assholes, Im not defeding them but in fact that most of survivors perks are blatantly broken. Perks that allow you to substitude an inventory item (looking at you selfhealing) should NOT be in a game that seems to be balanced around people having no perks at all and using items. Perk should give you a subtle edge, not sonic speed and built-in toolbox or medkit. If you think that Im wrong , compare how fun the game was in beta, where levelcap was 6 to what we are having now.
