I don't understand why some people think standard tempo dragon warrior is a poor deck.

Pros:
Muh dragon value
Muh Warriors OP early game spells
Muh mid game constant pressure
Ability to watch control warriors and priests squirm as they dig for solutions to your dragons. Also doubles as counter to zoo.

Cons: no dragons = feels bad man
Loses half the time to midrange hunter and/or tempo Mage
Shitty draws = shitty life.

i'm just going to theorycraft a bit
Midrange hunter loses by having its health reduced to 0, right? Which means at some point you're going to want to be taking big chunks out of their health; this can happen early game, mid game, or late game. A deck like zoo can take chunks early game, since playing 1 card per turn gets run circles around by aggro. A deck like rattle rogue can take chunks midgame, because that's when it starts being practical to use both removal and threats on the same turn and gain tempo. A deck like... honestly, I forget at this point, but I know midrange hunter CAN be successfully outcontrolled and then killed at leisure since their curve only goes up to 8 and the control deck will be able to use mana more efficiently.

As you can't brutally fuck them in the early game like an aggro deck can, and you can't blunt their everything taking the control standpoint, you have to be winning on tempo in the midgame. The thing is, without knowing why you're not already doing this, it's hard for me to judge... have you tried bash?

I will probably do that. I've been doing Best of 5 Conquest with no flavor, and there's been some call for change. However I want to avoid too long a tourney, since I want to get it over with in a 2-day period, which is impossible if we stream EVERY match of a 30-man tournament.

scattered reactions, again keping in mind that I do not have any specific thoughts on how to deal with those matchups:

both slam and faerie dragon can be somewhat low-impact spells; they don't give a huge return on your mana, which seems like it might pose more of a problem since you're not on battle rage. I realize they both play important roles in your early game, but the "standard" advice to give would be cut 1 copy of 1 of those cards and run better cards lmao

2 kor'kron 1 grom seems maybe too face; the grom is probably fine but at various points tempo warriors have pivoted out of kor'kron entirely, y'know? there are 4 drops like arathi weaponsmith (clear any random elekks or apprentices), twilight drake (potentially yeti or better with the dragon tag), bloodhoof brave (cockblocks tiger as well as guardian does) that you could be running or at least experimenting with in those slots

it's possible that running sir finley is a luxury you don't have in this meta, especially without battle rage to take advantage of his relatively fat butt; he's always felt like a general purpose 30th card if you don't have any specific matchup-killers you want to include and like the all-around value.

as I briefly alluded to, I would consider running bash; a lot of the time midrange hunters can have the failure condition of too many answers not enough threats 0 card draw, and just bashing their threats is a favorable 1-for-1 that buys you time into the late game. Also hits houndmaster more quickly than corrupter does.

i'm too tired for this shit, go on r/competitiveHS and find a warrior main who isn't on the verge of quitting the game

Post Brawl Decks

I got 320 dust at the moment and I can dust Corrupted Mukla for 400 dust (I mean, he doesn't fit any deck archetype t b h, normal Mukla was good for Mill decks)
so I have 720 dust and I want Justicar Trueheart so I can build Control decks, I need to dust about 2-3 other Leggos, what are the shittiest ones from adventures? I was thinking about Rivendare and Maexnna but I'll feel guilty because of the eventual Brawls that use Maexnna to kill high value cards.

I could also dust all my GvG cards tho

2 Innervate, 2 Alarm-o-bots, 2 Rockjaw Troggs and 1 Troggzor has been doing pretty well for me.
That said, the only class I've got a 100% win rate with so far is Priest. 90% of brawl is mages spamming their usual tempo garbage like in every spell-heavy brawl, so the guaranteed Auchenai+Circle just fucking buttfucks them.
