I like 4 the same reason people like 3: I was still in school and had friends to play with.
Shit was an absolute blast to jump in to customs with and seeing the 3 forge pallets that weren't in matchmaking, going for commendations because one of us unlocked a sweet armor set or skin, and just being a dumb high schooler playing halo with my bras.
I regret not packing my 360 when I moved. I've been dieing to play regular 4 again instead of MCC and Dewrito.

Well let's see...
And I'll be generous...

I like the Halo 4 campaign. I like the mission variety, I like the range of vehicular sections mixed with ground and stealth segments. That being said the range of playstyles isn't really the player's choice in Halo 4. It's not like the earlier games where the game clearly presents a reccomended playstyle but you don't have to take it. In Halo 4, you pretty much HAVE to do what the game wants. That sniping segment in Mission 5? Yeah, try doing that without sniping. That tank segment in Mission 4? That's a one way street. Oh. And don't even think about driving ahead of the mammoth. The map literally won't load unless the mammoth is there. Add in the abundance of "get/destroy/defend 3 _____ to procede" segments and the campaign feels technically amateur compared to earlier games. It feels more like bullet point list or outline rather than a finished and flushed out essay.
I can't bring myself to say the campaign is any better than an 8/10, and I'd slide more to a 7, but I'll be generous and give it an 8.

It's the worst in the series. Bar none. That doesn't mean it's terrible. I had some memerable times playing it, but the loadouts system really kills the Halo feel and while the maps are very well designed (I'd argue better than Reach or 3), the Infinity slayer/objective gametypes remove almost every point of map control being important. Add in the miniscule max rank as well as restrictive custom game options, and the replayability just isn't there.
5/10 tops. Not bad, but not good, and certainly not Halo.

Worst thing to happen to the series. Lazy, uninspired maps copy-pasted from the campaign and multiplayer with ludicrous enemy numbers and no death penalties, making the whole experience a frustrating grind.

So I got reset on Reach a few hours ago by doing the Weekly Challenge repeatedly.
It says on the side menu that I'm a Recruit but when I press start I'm still a Field Marshall and all my armor is still unlocked.
If I go into a game however I'm completely Default on everything. And Challenges aren't available either and don't show anymore. My Stats are completely reset on Waypoint and don't update either but are still what they were in-game before the reset.
Are there different types of bans/resets for certain things? Severity that sort of thing.
I didn't get a notification or anything in-game it just reseted after a match, I'm actually surprised it happen considering how old the game is but it's probably all automated.

My opinions on bungie titles tend to fluctuate frequently because quite frankly they were all great, even the less great ones. I think Reach is a high contender when it comes to the campaign, whether I knew the ending or not I thought the campaign was done well and almost every mission felt engaging, fun and that something was happening (except maybe nightfall). The spartans dropping off one by one helped up the pace throughout the campaign and by the end when you were fighting by yourself, it was pretty feelsy. Obviously some stuff was off like Halsey and the pillar of autumn but as an overall package it was pretty fucking good

Party could be private for any number of reasons, everyone always jumps to the most negative ones. Could be to prevent randoms from joining, could be because the Preview programs screws with the party.
