I know that TDs get guns a tier higher than the other tanks, but the SU-100 having a bigger gun, higher alpha, and superior rof really confuses me. At the same time, having a tier downed Pershing with no turret at tier 7 sounds kinda dumb.

T20 is odd in that it gets better the worse the MM is. It has good mobility, depression, view range, alpha, and stupid APCR pen which all allows it to at least be relevant against tier 9s. With rammer, BiA, and vents, I can get the reload on the top gun down to 6.88 seconds.

Arty is certainly responsible for killing the meta, at least on NA. Because there's so much arty in every game, especially roving platoons of XVM-sniping yellowgreens that show up every evening and weekend. So much arty that pubbies have finally internalized the meta and play extremely passively, hiding in arty cover and refusing to leave their side of the map for many minutes at a time.
This and the lack of mid-skill players have degenerated the meta to the point that, at every tier, aggressive play is suicide and the only way to win is to either camp base or follow your team's lemming train (if they form one), hoping that you don't get artied or backcapped by the other team.

So we sort of brushed up against this topic while platooning today and I wanted to illustrate what I said there.

Leo is quite fine, but going from Indie to Leo is weird. They play somewhat differently and a stock Leo is a cruel mistress. So it'll feel like a broken tank that can't do yet what it wants to do nor can it do what Indie could. It will come into its own, though, it will just take some time.

In short - indie is more of a mid-short range almost a brawler type med while Leo is more of a a long-mid range support-flanker med.

Indie has an ok gun, ok depression and an sort of ok turret that can bounce lower and even some equal tier guns sometimes, it's also a bit smaller than the usual boxes of the fascist boxes. It's rather slow, though, which means it can't really do relocations and sweeping flanking maneuvers perfectly. It's play style therefor more straightforward. Pick a flank, wolfpack or get into an advantageous position and utilise the depression-turret or be close-range support for the heavies on the front line. Avoid stuff you can't pen - T-54 variants are built to kill you and will ruin your day.

Leo has a greatish-good gun, mobility and camo. It has rubbish depression, no armour, and it's sort of wide. So Leo excels way more in the mid-long distance than Indie. Thanks to it's mobility you can usually relocate and take up another superior position where slower tanks like Indie will usually get overwhelmed. That said, it can support heavies in close range, its gun and mobility is good enough for peek-a-boo well, it's just so much more susceptible to hits. Leos mobility will also help you in the very late game where lights and meds are kings. Indie feels a bit slow in that phase of the game.

Be advised - while on paper the gun on Leo is laser accurate, it does feel a bit less reliable than it should. I'd guess that the soft-stats are lacking and therefor get crewskills which help with the handling.

Otherwise the golden rule for all meds apply to both: the longer you remain alive the more will the match shift into your kinda game. Support early game and become more aggressive as the map become less crowded.

My windows 10 installation randomly become unbootable three times.

The first because I installed windows updates, which made the taskbar stop working completely, so I rebooted and it didn't fix it, but then right clicking didn't work, I couldn't open folders or shortcuts on the desktop, the clock had vanished, and the shortcut buttons on my keyboard caused windows to ask which program I'd like to open, for example, the calculator with. Upon restarting, it couldn't load the OS.

The second time I installed drivers and it caused a BSoD and corrupted installation. So I tried again and it did the same. Turned out it was the graphics control panel though, not the drivers themselves.

The third time I compiled a game I was making and it failed, which then caused several errors. After restarting, it couldn't boot again.

I also lost an external hard drive to it.
