It doesn't. Right now you have some resources, probably a few warframes and weapons too that would take you a long ass time to get normally. And nothing stops you from going through early missions one by one. There's no "reverse engineering," only throwing away all the hours of grinding you already did. But hey, it's your game.

There is literaly nothing else to do, other than draco (or its future equivalent), and they were always avaliable, if nothing else, leeched form recruit.

-need money? just run a few void captures/exterminates, and bag some ducats in the process
Alternatives are the 2 dark sectors in pluto which doesnt give you jack shit other than money (hieracon is only worth it if you only do 1 extractor so no key or cores)
-need plat? just run a few voids and if RNG shines on you, you walk away 100 plat richer.
Alternatives are vault runs that require a key just the same, requires herding a sheep of retards, cant be solod, and at best you get 20-30worth of plat.
-need an objectively superior version of something, or the rare resource to accuire them from baro? Do voids nonstop nigga.
Alternatives are nonexistant, but balanced by the fact that the void is avalaible 24/7 and you can leech keys (both of which will change)
-need syndicate/want to forma your shit? Go to void for formas, then go to draco as all other forms of XP gains are several magnitutes behind.

Do you not understand? When they blow up the void, you won't have to farm it anymore. Every tile will help you farm the projection you are using.

Imagine you need a T3S rotation C drop, now, you go to T3S, spend 12 hours farming, and when your soul is about to die, the item drops. After the rework, you set your drop table to T3S and every map you do counts towards completion. You are no longer stuck in the void, you are free to do other things, or keep on doing the void if you choose.

Infested have been buffed. Healers are now stronger. At one time, healers healed on nearby ally damage AND took allied damage for them. Made stuff into fucking tanks. That and moas.

Corpus were actually the original Draco, when Mag was useful. Then they introduced nullifiers to kill the fun. And Comba/Scrambus.

Grineer are just dumb shooters. They get tanky with armor which pubs rarely remove so they seem tough. Only annoying unit is maybe the manic but you never see that anymore, especially on Draco which is half the game nowadays.

I hardly play anymore. I pop up to check on the game periodically. It's part of my routine to catch up with what /wfg/ is up to first.

It's perfectly true this system could actually beat out what we have now - but that is because our current system is so bad it's not particularly difficult to beat. That isn't championing any progress DE is making either - it's stating the obvious. This keys and drop tables system doesn't work at all. They can't even fit all the shit they've made into it. If nothing else at least this system CAN be made to encompass the whole thing. We'll see if they actually do it.

It is also true that it is highly likely the rate of obtaining either rarer parts OR this afterimage currency is going to be abysmal because DE is forever terrified of how players can grind faster than they can invent gimmicks.

The secondary currency WILL give you the optimum turnout rate for rares. Realistically that means the 3% drop might increase to 6%. If we're blessed it'll be 10%.

I don't have much faith at all in this being useful at the start. We'll have to see if backlash makes DE pedal backwards and alter rates to something more middle-ground if the worst occurs.

Ignoring Tierqueer, what are some different ways to play Equinox? Right now I'm just going high power str keeping Peaceful Provocation up and running around with a baTonkortonk to fuel Maim, but it seems like a waste since she just seems like such a variable frame, I'm curious what other ways people have found to be effective.

Maybe low str high range/duration with Calm and Frenzy with a CE dagger or something. Though more utility than just killing would be nice since the maim build covers that okay.

Just straight up fuck magnetic proc. It already fucks shields and vision. I shouldn't ALSO completely fuck energy. If it was -75% capacity and blocked energy gain instead of -100% energy, it would be at least somewhat bearable. Way back in the day, it used to also disable heavy unit abilites. Meaning no Toxic Ancient farts for a few seconds, and no shockwave from heavy Grineer. I think it also disabled Eximus unit auras, which I think was DE's half-assed reason to remove that effect of mag proc on enemies.

It is another layer of Alert type missions. You wont just find them anywhere anytime.

So, i know atlas is useless, but my ocd told me to get it and i started the quest, and now i cant do the last mission because forced archwing bullshit and i want these fucking cephalons to shut up about eris, any tips on how to finish the quest or is there any way to cancel it or something? dont care about the frame anymore i just dont want to hear the same conversation over and over again (ordis is already muted by default but the other piece of shit wont shut up)

Choose another mission as active. Provided you have another active mission. I guess you can turn it off so none of them are active but not sure about that.

if you can't get a team together with 4xCorrProj, slam as much corrosive as you can onto whatever garbage archwing weapons you have, or if you can, do the same with radiation, and try to dodge the sleek - or post your IGN and maybe someone will run you through it

I think you can set another quest as active, maybe even one you've already completed, if you're really giving up
