My tabletop game project is very slowly coming together. I think I have the combat math figured out.
Each evolution stage uses a different die for damage. A basic attack, which every character has, uses 3 damage dice.
>Baby 1: d4-1
>Baby 2: d4
>Child: d6
>Adult: d8
>Perfect: d10
>Ultimate 1: d12
>Ultimate 2: d12+1
There are stats added to damage dealt and subtracted from damage taken, but for the sake of this explanation, assume they are equal.
The average max HP should be 10x stage, though I expect players to invest a bit more in HP, so that's where techniques and abilities to increase damage come in.

Wouldn't that require a second digivice? I was under the impression that only the "leader" digimon in a party could super evolve, hence why Ballistamon and Dorulumon had separate blue and orange digivices in the manga, and Double Xros was specifically between two parties.
The closest Nene could get to that in the anime was Arresterdramon X Sparrowmon. I'm probably wrong though.

I specifically meant the insert song, "Evolution&DigiXros". She could have had a Super Evolution for Sparrowmon and done a Double Xros with Taiki as well. Kiriha's version of the song reflects how he's come this far thanks to Taiki and that's why their Double Xros is symbolic, they could have done the same with Nene seeing as Taiki pretty much saved her too.

I'm assuming you started with Veemon, so just use a pure Red until you can get Special Digivolve and a decent amount of cards from other colors.
That is to say, until you find an arena for that type. I used Red/Blue from Igloo City till the very end, but until then I just didn't have enough Blue.

As for right now, Tyrannomon wrecks that arena with his X, just gotta use a Biyomon support or some other thing that boosts it.
Also, re-do arenas for extra goodies when characters ask you to.

On next 0rder, you can lock all evolutions but one, and then not fulfill the rquirements for that one to stay on that Digimon forever.

But does that work on Rookies?
Cause you can't lock Numemon or Geremon.
Sure they only happen if you don't fulfill the condtion to ANY champion, and technically you'll fulfill them all but the one you locked, but I'm not sure if that counts to prevent the evo.
