She's a defense hero which Blizz classified as a Support so they could safely say that not all supports have to heal.

With the exception of her teleporter, Toblerone is essentially a side-grade to Symmetra.

The Symmetra shield counts as constant healing on low health skirmishers, so Tracer or Junkrat or anyone who can get in and out of fights quickly. 25+25+25+25+25+etc. adds up quickly. It's less relevant on fat or immobile heroes.

Her damage is fucking insane but it's all situational damage, no simple "click mouse hurt guy". She's a good anti-flanker to keep wasps like Tracer and Genji off of you and she's good at blowing up teams who stand behind Rein shields, but if there's someone at midrange and you NEED to do 50 damage to them you just can't do it.

Teleporter is busted, it's like a guaranteed full power Mercy resurrect if you use it right.

Symmetra is super powerful but she doesn't fit on every team, or against every team.

You look at where your team and the enemy team are and place it to cover for your team and watch flanks.
Does the enemy team easily deal with it? Then find a new spot.
