All the CT team or at least those 2 fucking losers got so salty for losing 2 fucking rounds against me + 4 bots because none of them wanted to switch and make the game fair, that they end up switching just to kick me for no good reason. How is that shit fair in any way? I got robbed of 2 rounds even though the odds were stacked against me.

Has anything like this happened to any of you? I don't even know if there was something I could have done to prevent that bullshit votekick.

I really don't like to think about pros cheating because I enjoy watching tournaments, but I've seen so many suspect clips now that I've stopped doubting it. Players do get salaries but they have to play well to keep those salaries; plus they could get bonuses from winning tournaments. I don't think anybody is at risk of getting called out unless they're extremely blatant because people turn a blind eye to it since so many pros are suspected of it. It's also worth mentioning that tournaments are too lax about the way players are allowed to handle their hardware before playing; they don't actively try to prevent illegal tampering.

You can't really pretend that 1.6 was perfect, it was just basic and most of the features you needed and very few of the ones you don't.

The level of competition is clearly higher in GO, more so because this is many people's full time job now and not just a hobby then because the game is "better" though. GO still has some useless shit and bad mechanics, but most of that is fine.

If you ask an oldschool CS player what version was the best they will mostly say 1.3 or 1.5.
