It's really annoying when the non-ranked system takes rank into account. Like in SFV I had to play ranked just to get up to like Silver so I'd get matched against people who knew how to play in unranked.

If people want to play ranked fine but I don't really care about stats and just want to play and have fun and it honestly feels like the MMR system works against you more than it helps. There's also the fact that you only improve by playing against people better than you.
