How do I deal with higher level torb players as Pharah? They place them in really hard places to counter. Should I just switch?

Pharah can stay outside her particle cannon range, Tracer is extremely hard for Zarya to hit, and unless she's fully charged a Mei can just bully her, even if she shields.

Bastion can both outrange her and vaporize her shields in a picossecond.

Some people here are saying Reaper, but from my experience any 1v1 with Reaper ends up with him going spooky ghost away.

I get this, but I often feel like I'm stuck on the other side of the coin too. I'm not a very good Widow, but I generally play the "swing" role and that often entails going Widow to deal with Bastion, turrets, or defensive snipers, which I do decently but still feel like I'm otherwise wasting my slot because I'm not popping headshots on the rest of the other team.

Hey /owg/ I'm having some issues with the game.

Stuff doesn't seem to load properly a lot of the time, like going into hero gallery it takes 30 seconds or more for the hero to actually appear, or for the skin to change.
I can join games and people are invisible for a few minutes, or im invisible for the whole game.

It seems like network issues, but I have consistently good speeds and I have my PC under DMZ so all my ports are open. What would be causing this?

While I understand he is being delusional, when a game is facing utter anihiliation and the playerbase is likely dying (iex Evolve with less than 300 players a day), being not so autismal about winning might be needed. Someone might be picking up the game just to check it out, and if he gets ultra roflstomped by one of the few neckbeards left with 4000 hours played it's likely the new player will just ask for a refund.

I had this issue with Everquest 2, you could level cap your character, and then twink him out, and roam around the low level areas in a micro pony and using an almost invisible mini halfling and waves after waves of halflings in mini ponys raped the entire newbee zones, the did like 5-7 minutes sweeps, it was really hard and really time consuming to get past those zones in pvp servers.

I'm not saying that killed the game entirely, but certainly discouraged many people from ever daring to touch the pvp servers, in the end you're left with your twink doing nothing and having no one else to kill since you sacred everyone away.

Overwatch sold 10 million units tho, so obviously there's no reason to go easy on anyone, but Battlestillborn is probable going to be as dead as evolve next month or so.

Almost every single F2P game that makes money from microtransactions has a similar algorithm for matchmaking.

World of Tanks and all of it's spinoffs are the most obvious examples. You ignore two key factors
1. Blizzard has never given me a chance to play with players of any skill. I have literally never played a game of overwatch with more than a single competent team player outside of myself.

2. One player cannot turn the tide in a team oriented game like overwatch. It doesn't matter how many kills I get, or how much damage I deal, or how long I stay on the objective if I'm the only one who is doing anything remotely of value, because our Hanzo is diligently watching a wall or the tracer throws her bomb at the ground 20 feet away from the nearest enemy, then magdumps a Zarya with her shield up. Or my personal favorite, the Genji who sits next to the Widowmaker and tries to chip away at things he's not accurate enough to hit at 10 feet, let alone 50.

I know I'm not a very good player. But I know damn well that I'm the best I regularly play with because I'm constantly getting 4 golds as a Lucio

How can anyone be incredibad with Hanzi when his Scatter Arrow is basically free kills as long as you can simple geometry literally just shooe directly at someone's feet. You can even do these from 20m away.
