I agree. She was a curious, optimistic young woman but with a sharp tongue and no issue with using violence to solve her problems. She was a deeper character because she wasn't perfect. Then in ME2 she turned into a shapely moeblob that is totally dedicated to the cause and with no flaws. I wish they explored more of her motivations, why she's such a good engineer (honestly the whole genius engineer thing bothered me. She could have talent, but she's presented as a tech-guru just because.) Her loyalty mission should have involved sending specs, tech and intel to the fleet and confronting her about it, along with the Geth thing. Or maybe that should be explored in ME3, but nope she's an admiral now. Why? Aren't there vice admirals or politicians more suited to the position?

Why not just attach a small tube full of coolant to the gun, the tube would run along the arm and be fed from reserves carried on the back. No need to switch magazines, just keep shooting. When the gun is empty of coolant it'll just act like one of the guns from ME1.

The chainsword is a bit silly, it's so big. I think Jack would carry a big gun rather than a big sword, she just doesn't seem like a sword-person.

Cawadooty is definitely less skill-intensive than some other shooters, but I think it's a fair analogue for how different ME1s gunplay is. Of all my friends who played it, maybe 1 out of every 10 had anything to say about the gunplay other than "it was so clunky."

Personally I love the combat of ME1. It's my favorite of the series, mostly because you can feel the curve of it as you learn the patterns, unlock better gear and git gud

the first time you come to the citadel after finishing the first mission this admiral wants to inspect the ship and you already need 10 points in renegade to have all options.
It is possible to get them, but it fucks over your talent tree really hard in the beginning.

If it's just the regular military, then everyone uses the same shit, it's all standardized. While the special forces gets a lot more lee way when it comes to picking gear, it's still relatively set what they can and can not get. While getting an M416 with a red dot sight by Aimpoint is no problem, they wouldn't get an SAR21.
Unlike the multiplayer, the 'real' Alliance special forces wouldn't run around with krogan weapons, or salarian grenade pistols.
