Just created my first merged patch, feels pretty good anons.

I'm having some issues with my game. Long/eternal loading screens, random spontaneous crashes, a couple of other miscellenous issues such as Spriggans failing to complete their health regeneration phase and attaining godmode, horses with riders flailing the fuck about in the sky and through geometry, and followers taking ages to go places. Helping me out with any of these things is appreciated.

So, I've got this issue that I've never seen before. I'm installing some mods. I want to get a final playthrough in before Todd breaks my game with the "remastered" Skyrim. There's some cheevos I've yet to get and shit. Basically, I want to do a fairly vanilla run through of the game for old times sake.

The issue I'm having is the camera seems to "vibrate." It seems to be most noticeable around fires and in caves, but basically it looks like my camera can't move at a diagonal angle. Left and right, up and down are smooth as butter. But the moment I move in any other direction the camera shakes like it's going up steps.

Pic related is my mod list, I haven't got any ENB installed as of right now if. Maybe that's connected, who knows. The issue doesn't happen when I boot the game without any mods.

Sorry for the tech support question. Basically just want to know if somebody else has experienced this and knows the cause/fix.

I've got a big fuckin' problem, and it's not about CTDs this time.

For whatever reason, the game is chugging like a motherfucker. No matter what graphics settings I choose, no matter how many times I throw out the .ini, no matter how many times I reinstall the game, nothing's fixing the issue. I haven't added mods for the past three installs and it's still chugging.

Now, here's the curious thing...
The 'escape' menu, main menu and loading screens all work just fine. Once I actually get into the game, however, everything takes a shit except those three things. The inventory/magic/skills/map menu is all fucked up just like the game, but 'escape' works just fine; even the mouse is unaffected.

Got any advice for me? Or should I just buy the game instead?

Yes, I know I should just get a new computer, but it was running fine last night.

It happened right after I woke up this morning. My graphics card is an old Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 which, in itself, is a problem all its own combined with my computer's age; but the game was working just fine this whole week, even last night around 1am. Then as soon as I boot it up today, this starts happening.

At first I thought it was my mods, so I uninstalled them. When that didn't fix anything, I removed all of them. When THAT didn't fix anything, I re-installed. Two installs later, I'm still having trouble. I should just buy a new rig since I've been thinking about it for so long, but I'm a poor piece of shit so that's not an option at the moment.

I am currently living a quiet life in the town of Riverwood as a Breton girl who just wants to brew, cook, and practice conjecture magic.

I already have the "Jobs of Skyrim" mod and I even found a cute cottage someone made for the player in Riverwood. A shame that it breaks my character's lore in that it assumes she is the Dragonborn, but I didn't turn it off using Skyrim Unbound.

I guess she'll come to discover she is the new Dragonborn later, but in the meantime, what are some other good mods to make a simple life more fulfilling?

? It dries out, cracks, and becomes more like insulative caulk rather than thermally conductive paste. My laptop wasn't reaching full turbo, and was hitting 95'C, so I cleaned it, replaced the thermal paste (which was more like dust), and no it runs at full turbo under full load without a hiccup.

Some manufacturers are fine with it. XFX for example, doesn't give a flying fuck if you watercool your card, OC it to hell, and then RMA it when it breaks. If they discover over-volting damage, of course they're not going to replace it, but if it failed because of a bad cap, they're more than happy to.

Well, yeah. That's why I said that while I'm no master of the crafts, even I can see that it looks wrong. Anyway it's that guys loss, not mine. I've got my own issues regarding hardware. If a keyboard counts as hardware that is. Can't find a way to open the damn thing so i can clean it thoroughly, so now I can only clean the top of the keys and parts inbetween, but when I look inbetween them I swear there's a new ecosystem brewing. There's actually no way to open it. And I can't even pull out the keys themselves.

You should be able to just pull the keys straight off the keyboard with enough force. They can take a but of wrestling, but I'd try it on the scroll lock key first so id doesn't matter if you break it.

I have the U3415W and it was a grand on sale when I got it last year. It's normally around ~700 USD lately though.
It's a bitch to drive and even more annoying to find games that support it, Skyrim need the flawless widescreen program and Sky UI still doesn't look perfect but it's amazing for strategy games which is mainly what I play.

It's not out of the realm of plausibility.
Keep in mind that the 1070/1080 are just a die shrink of maxwell, which was a power efficiency optimization of kepler, and isn't really that well optimized for DirectX12.
The 480 on the other hand is GCN1.3, an architecture built from the ground up for API's like Mantle, Vulkan, and DX12, and we are already seeing huge performance boosts going from DX11->12 on AMD's GCN cards (when DX12 is implemented correctly, and not just slapped onto a DX11 game).
