It seems to have something to do with the way they localized it, it's basically the Japanese game with a few extra folders added for the US assets, and the "US" part of those filenames is actually dynamically generated from the region. Editing pic related made it work on my EU console with langemu disabled. The manual is still fucked up when launched from the home menu but it works fine when launched from the in-game cafe for some reason, no idea why.

I own a 2DS, but I haven't owned any other 3DS so I can't compare it. It's ok. I've got it since it was really cheap and I have no use for 3D effect. But since you've owned an XL it'll of course have a smaller screen so that's a con. And it has a mono speaker (stereo sound for headphones). Some even say it's more comfortable to hold than the regular 3DS. Other than that I dunno what else to say.

No. PS4 saves are encrypted, and that encryption hasn't been broken yet on any save.

PS3 encryption was easy to break once CFW was readily available, but PS4 is a locked box.

If you go to the eshop it checks your dlc against a list of what you bought.
If you bought some but not all, but have all of them installed it deletes the ones you dont own.

Going to the eshop, opening the games page and hitting repair all the way at the bottom is the easiest way to fix a 3ds logo loop.
