Healing and instant damage ultimates are both way too meta shaping right now. They are so ingrained lots of people don't even question their presence.

They detract from the game though in my opinion. The only good direct damage ults right now are Tracer sticky (since its not super reliable, so you have to earn it) and Hanzo (10/10 ult design, everyone should have had this pattern)

Roadhog is too offensive and can't pick people off, plus he's just a damage sponge for the enemy to build their ultimate with.

D.Va's and Winston are more disruptive tanks that can get in enemy backlines or distract them.

I honestly don't get the point of Mei, she's supposed to be deadly at close range but also has long range comparable to Widow, she has area denial like Bastion, but unlike Bastion she needs literally no time to start it up, and she can literally just decide at any time to stop playing the game, while also gaining her health back. It's fucking nonsense, how did this happen? She needs to be completely overhauled.

The decrease in HP would have meant that flankers could prey on her, and Torby would also have been a sort of counter since he could armor up people to survive even a headshot.

S:76 v. Pharah is a 6-4 matchup in S:76's favor at worst. He can give her trouble, but its not a foregone conclusion because she can give him trouble too if you got talespin aim, because her ttk isn't significantly slower than his.

To shut down Pharah you need multiple hitscan heroes. This was the rule when people ran double McCree or McCree/Widowmaker. Even then you saw Pharah picked on Pharah friendly sections of maps (first and second stage of King's row, second stage of Hollywood)

A step by step guide on how to play Junkrat
By me
Professional level Junkrat player

Step 1. Hold down Left Mouse button, at no point during the game should you stop holding down left mouse button

Step 2. Just throw traps everywhere, doesn't matter where it has 0 arm time so just throw it at people if you want for the free 85 damage and 3 second stun/snare

Step 3. Just throw your shift bomb in peoples faces. No arm time means you can detonate it instantly for a free 120 ish damage and the CD is low enough that you honestly don't even need to hit any of your left click bombs to kill people since you can just repeatedly throw shift bombs at them

Step 4. Use your ult on CD. One of the lowest CD ults in the game so no reason to not just spam it even to pick off on person. Note: you should still be holding down left click while piloting the tire

you are now a professional level junkrat player

never blindly spam from behind a wall or some shit, you're not a backline hero you should be up front causing mayhem with your traps and mines, junkrat is actually extremely strong up close as long as you stay away from your own splash damage

if all you're doing is spamming grenades into a doorway, their tanks are going to walk into it to deliberately take a little damage then just heal it up and get free ults for their lucios, mercies and zenyattas, which also happen to be the most powerful ults in the game so don't do that

I prefer to use c4 for mobility or finishing enemies off, and I only use the trap to let me know theres a flanker. be relentless, accuracy % with junkrat is meaningless. get as used to projectile arc as possible though, at higher skill levels you can't afford to miss when directly engaged with someone.

This is how I play Junkrat and maintain a 78-80% win ratio with him

I have also have been developing a new strat where I tape down my left click and blindfold myself. Then I randomly press around where I think the WASD keys are and still get about 30+ kills per game with a 60% win rate

I have also played him while asleep and won by myself 1v6
Its not junkrat either, he is perfectly balanced. I was a Silver level League of Legends player so I am actually quite good at video games.

you pretty much play like i do, i always try to have a spare mine for mobility so i can flank and go behind them, and traps when im engaging tracers or winstons

that's really one major problem lucios have i also agree with the accuracy even tough that's not that much of a problem if you're in close quarters.
and like i said my first priority is usually getting the mercy away from her team.
so what i'll do is, drop down from somewhere and push her away from her mates which usually leads to her stream breaking (if i manage to push her far enough anyway) or to her just stopping the healing by herself and pulling out that gun of hers which also results in my team having an advantage because if i do everything right they're still in my aura and the enemies lack heals

The problem here is that they aren't killing enough things, because they suck at the hero. Killing one hero at the same rate they need to get back from spawn isn't very good.

Being on fire 90% match as Roadhog isn't an accomplishment because that hero generates points by feeding ults.
