Yes, the guild has to make money through guild quests, but the amount you can receive from the guild into your personal funds every day is dependent upon your guild activity. So if you don't play a lot you won't receive a lot either, no matter what guild. Savvy?

Guild quests give the guild funds and a lot of guild skill xp that is used for guild skills like those permanent buffs I talked about, and give you a lot of activity. Guild skill xp is also generated very slowly while gaining very slow activity through normally playing the game.

Get "Mark of Shadow" rings, Witches Earrings, Tree Spirit Belt or Gladiator Belt, and go for a DUO/TRI Bares Necklace until you get an Ogre Ring.

Slowly get boss armor and a Liverto, then upgrade to Kzarka weapon, from world bosses or the market if you're lucky.

More levels means more acc, evasion, health, and mana.
More acc means they won't miss you and they negate your dp.
More evasion means you'll miss them more often. (pretty noticeable 2-3+ levels ahead)
Easier levels go both ways. Sure 55 is easy, but now 57/58 for them is much more viable, and there's already plenty of them there. A few are on there way to 59.
More PvE AP means the geared autists are even more guaranteed to get the top loot at world bosses.

So it's a win/win for everyone.

I got a couple skill resets and the awakening ones are like a free mem frag for awakening skills.
Some classes rely on combos, but they're pretty set in stone as far as what's most efficient, so there's not a lot of room for creativity.
Just good to know how a class you're fighting flows, what moves have cc/block/super armor, what does damage, what you can avoid or cancel them out of, etc...

This really has to be a bug. I just tested a couple things in arena and the Sorcs in my guild, of whom multiple have over 160AP, deal almost no damage to my Zerker on back hits. I am pretend AFK and they have trouble killing me, this completely retarded. As soon as I go full DP its even worse.

I'm thinking about buying this game. It looks very comfy. I always enjoy it when MMOs have things to do that isn't just fighting and maybe fishing, it helps break up the monotony. I've seen gameplay videos and read some reviews, I think it'd be a game I'd fine very comfy if it all goes well.

That being said, I'm a bit cautious since paying $40 (exchange rates, I'm from New Zealand) for an MMO is a bit of a risk. So I'd like to ask a couple of questions.

I hear cash shop items are fairly expensive. How necessary are they? I know it's not straight up pay to win but I do hear it has a bunch of convenience items, especially pets and people say you almost always need one. So how intrusive is the cash shop? Will the game be a gigantic grind if I don't use it? Will things like repairing/upgrading weapons fail unless I buy magic powder from cash shops or whatever? Why are pets so important? Could you also give me an idea how what prices cash shop items are?

How many character slots do you get? I'd like to try out at least two characters. Related to this, I hear storage space is a bit of an issue. Do I need to make alt characters to act as living item banks?

The tamer class is the summoner class right? But her summon skill has a long cool down, I hear. Is she completely useless without her summon?

Speaking of which, what classes do you recommend? I was thinking maybe Valkyrie, since my understanding is that she's the tankiest. Plus I know the game is all about killing groups of enemies at once, so playing someone squishy as a first character might be a bad idea. That being said, sorceress and the ninja classes look fun.

How fun is the game, by the way? Would you recommend it? I did enjoy MMOs like Mabinogi for a while but in the end, grinding for life points or whatever to upgrade/learn skills was too much of a chore.

I'll ask some of your questions:
Some cash shop items are too good to not get them(more Weight capacity, more inventory slots, costumes that gives you some bonuses, etc)
But you can get Weight Cap/Inventory Slots by doing some quests(they are easy).

When you kill a monster he could drop something, to get the item you must go to the corpse and press R. Pets do that for you every 3 sec(max level) and you can have 3 pets max(4 with Valencia)

The Price of the items are high, a pearl shop Outifit cost from $20-30 depening on how many pieces are and pets go for $7-10.

You have 5 character slots, you can get more using Pearls(premium Currency) or Loyalty(you get 100 everyday, +character slot is 5000, you can get even more loyalties from ingame achievements). Creating Alts is encouraged but you should only have 1-2 main combat characters because Equipment is not cheap.

The tamer's pet cooldown is 2min and his lifespan is 10min, he will never leave your side(you cna ride him at lvl 40)

The game's meta right now is Ranger, you should make one for World Bosses for a chance of rare items. Valkyries are tanky and the have some support skills.

My first class was a Wizard, very easy to understand and extremely good while grinding(the only best class is ranger).

Tamer is not a traditional summoner, she's a mobile melee class with a pet.


Also the only cash shop items I would call necessary are pets. Get the more expensive 50 dollar verison of the game because that gives you a pet and a free horse.

No. Each town has a storage with a default space, you can upgrade that buy buying houses in town to use as storage which increases your storage size.

I understand that you can breed pets to make them gain buffs, buffs get a maximum of 3% boost to whatever and if 3 pets have the same buff they all stack to 9%. That being said... breeding pets doesn't seem like something I'm interested in. Especially since from what I understand you'll need to buy pets over and over to keep breeding them? A 9% buff to whatever doesn't sound worth it, you know?

YC merged with ITC and they're doing pretty good, I think.
IC absorbed part of another guild and is also doing pretty good.
Both are growing in size and guild rank from what I've seen.

I finished downloading Black Desert about an hour ago and I've been trying to play it. Unfortunately I keep getting an "Failed to init Security" error box come up after I click the play button on the launcher.

I've Googled around and tried multiple methods to no avail. Admin mode, adding the entire game folder as an exception for my anti virus, turning anti virus off completely, compatibility mode... nothing, doesn't work.

Can you please give me any advice on what to do? It's always very frustrating when a game doesn't work right. Thank you for the assistance.
