I don't believe you understand. This was one of the better ones I tried out, the Barbarian skin from the HV pack on the Tesgeneral site. I thought "barbarian" would be right up her alley, whoa ho ho, no sir. She's not fine, she needs a ton of work before she can even look believable. Right now she looks, like I said before, like a random assortment of faceparts strewn about a head with little rhyme or reason. Vanilla presets are more tolerable.

The lips and the eyes are a factor of mfg expressions. This set was just me slightly zooming in on a hidden showracemenu with different expressions going on. If anything, the nose is a valid complaint. I noticed it's a bit thin there.
I believe this is a neutral shot I took from the same set. The eyes are wider and the lips are thicker, because she's not trying to smile or look happy or anything.

When I made her (though I will say that I did not make her perfect to my imagination), I made her to look like what she is, and she is ignorant, keeps her mouth shut, and would rather spend all day daydreaming than doing things she has to do. Like eating. The "squinty eyes" thing was an attempt at getting lazy half-asleep eyes.

C: Her lips are already high up (+.5 lips) compared to the chin. Moving her lips up would make her chin bigger. Moving her nose down too much would make her look much like another character I have, who I specifically designed to look Greek/Jewish. If I were to move her eyes down farther than -1 to make her nose seem less long, she'd look like a disproportionate gremlin.

Despite my complaints, I've went back to the Bannered Mare and tried to follow your instructions. Better?

Good weather mods like Vivid weathers or NLA enb help a lot if your pc can handle it.
Good lighting mods like ELFX can add a lot of comfy to interiors.
A must have, especially for comfy is Audio Overhaul Skyrim, which reworks and adds many ambient sounds to the overworld.

Good textures for small detailed things also help, coupled with a good ENB seeing an absolutely gorgeous red apple fills me with delight.

I personally turn my music down pretty low, so you'll mostly only hear the ambient sounds.
