If I remember correctly, due to the way PPSSPP is optimized, it's a lot less CPU-reliant than Retroarch's PS1 emulator, for example. If you want, you can check out the AC3 stream on my twitch. If AC3 (which is entirely reliant on the cpu due to being software mode basically) runs flawlessly even while streaming, you're not gonna have a problem with ACX, which dumps a lot of the load onto the GPU.
