Phoenix is weak to counter initiation as long as he's the one you initiate on.

For the egg to survive he has to land his W, which he can't do if you blink stun him, Silences also fuck him hard, he doesn't want to build Euls or GGreaves but he'll have to if you get a silence or have a silence at all. He's fairly weak past 30 minutes as well, he falls off hard damage wise, and mostly exists as a healbot and temporary kill me instead of my team for 1.3 seconds until you click my egg 12 times. In a world where echo saber, lifestealer, slark, troll and sniper are meta Phoenix is just free gold.

hey dude, looks like u are doing the same thing as me. Here's a tip: you can't get low priority even if everyone else reports you. It only counts if you get a high number of reports over multiple games. So what I do to lose MMR is pick Kotl, cliff allies, wait for AFK abandon then leave and go play 2-3 normal unranked games. I never get low prio by doing this.

As for calibration, make sure that your hero damage, tower damage, and allied healing are also low. Spirit Breaker worked the best for me, since in the shit tier you can tower dive enemies and your team will actually think it's a legit play. Make sure to ping them madly after you die, and blame them for not helping you gank. I literally just had dota in the background while I did other stuff. You just need to check every 30 seconds or so and press Q on the midlaner.
