I think the arguement is that they get a 2.5% chance or whatever of getting a white mob, which is normally something like 1/8000 or a gold mob which is normally 1/10,000. Those numbers are just what I've heard. If they're true though, an Oracle has an extremely high chance in comparison than finding those mobs naturally.

A corsair, oracle, dopple, thaum and chrono in the same party would be hilarious for money farming.

Corsair for the normal stuff with Jolly Roger.
Oracle to change on cooldown.
Whenever a shiny spawns, Thaum can swell it, dopp and DPE and the Chrono can Reincarnate.

I've never seen or heard of people doing it, but the thought, if it works the way I'm thinking, would be hilariously cool.

Oracle's change attribute when maxed is 2.5% and costs just over 6m to get it there.

Also, this only spawns silver mobs at 2.5% chance per change use. The usage is 2 uses on a 70 second timer.

Also, as for materials, change is useless, quite obviously. Also, for silver, its basically shit because you have just as much chance of getting a silver kepa as getting a silver bellfiggy. Enjoy getting a silver kepa for that wopping 1k silver!

Resetting is also pretty bad due to it's retardedly long cooldown. Ive heard theres an exploit that you can do easily to get it on a 20 second cooldown but at this point, i wouldnt even risk it since you know, ban happy gooks. And even if you do get one on a 20 second cooldown, that just means you're killing/spawning one monster every 20 seconds. Its only good on things with retarded spawn timers like panto spearmen or cafrisun tier map "bosses".

Oracle is just bad overall for farming money. Too big an investment needed and the returns are pathetically low.

So guys, i'm a little bit confused, and i need to repair my main character, but there's many ways to make it.

As you see:

Wiz > Cryo 1 > Linker 2 > Sorceres 2

I'm trying to be a pve heavy grinder but my damage in bosses have some lack of damage besides TempleShooter skills, what path can i pick to get some damage?

I got a Roxona plate set with infantry plate gloves with awakening, planning to get magas rod + Beetleback/Dagger and audra in quick swap.

so, that means that i can link 8 squares of ice wall and hit them with my arde quicker enough to let a lot of ice shards come out (this to give the linker class some utility in boss fights.)

How can you compare damage of this with IW + PP from CryoKinos?

Let's imagine for a moment that rank 8 class are enabled, what patch can i take to take advantage of this build?

I thought hard about going hunter 2 fletcher 3 but I really wanted a purely pet control character.
You'll probably burn through sp really faster as hunter 2 fletcher 3, since retrieve and snatching will eat up tons of sp as well but at least you'll be able to do shit on ground bosses.

In theory if backstab or sneak hit works well with hunter's coursing/retrieve, you could go high str for damage since you'll get tons of crit chance with rogue/coursing but you won't be able to dodge shit when you're trying to get your pet to hit the right target in the first place.

I don't have the proper means to test, but I think the 40% crit chance on Coursing *might* be of the same nature as Sneak Hit. That is, it's not 70% more crit rate, it's a 70% crit rate roll on top of you normal crit rate.

Yeah, I'm no stranger to hunter mechanics; I played one back in iCBT2 and a little bit during kTOS. It's why I'm leaning towards rogue since Hunter's already an in-your-face kinda class. That being said, getting hit is worrisome as well as landing hits in minigame should I reverse my current stat allocation to 3DEX:2STR or some other ratio?

Also, Lolipan mentioned something about snatching being based of your damage instead of your pet's, unlike coursing. Makes me wonder if it's also affected by things like attributes (anti-air, swift step crit)
