Hanzo's about timing and pre-firing. He's like, the hardest hero in the game bar Genji. You have to play him like a sniper and a DPS at the same time, but if you're on your game you end up being Soldier 76 with no damage falloff. Also, scattershot is way more hilarious than helix rockets. Oh but you'll also have entire teamfights where you don't hit shit. The pros complain about that in particular.

You don't have to aim too far down unless you're countersniping Widowmaker, as a general rule. Arrow fires from your belly button though, so aiming slightly high is a good idea. Prefiring is the key, you need to learn good pieces of cover on the maps and try to predict where the enemy will come into view so that you can one-shot them and give a dank killcam of you firing a random arrow and staring at the wall. It looks retarded, it feels retarded, but it's probably the thing that takes longest to master besides headshots on Genji shurikens.

You'll also find out that there's little curbs and bumps in the ground on certain maps that'll make your scatter shot go a completely different direction than it's supposed to.

Nothing like the rush of hunting people down and killing em. I mean my hearts beating, my hands are shaking, but I'm still shooting. It's like boom headshot, boom headshot, BOOM HEADSHOT!

As far as Overwatch goes, I don't really know why you'd want to watch anyone other than seagull. Widowmaker can be a team player if you can actually play her well, zone areas instead of going for meme plays, use ult correctly, "remember" that she has "venom mines" that do "75 damage in AOE" and are "very good in chokepoints", use the SMG in close fights to give some extra power, and in general not act like a greedy piece of human garbage.

Zenyatta is also pretty much a sniper already, just don't say it out loud too often. 200 health incoming, probably. I mean he had 200 health before, imo the balance issues were around his orbs not requiring line of sight and Blizzard can probably figure that out.

Why does every random play Hanzo, I've played 6 games as 3 today and we've had a Hanzo on constantly even on hill. I wasn't even gonna make this but we just had a Hanzo Genji combo.

Because it's fun to play a hero with high potential. All of these Hanzos have dreams of becoming so good they can nail headshots every 2 seconds and delete entire teams, getting airshots and keeping the most useful wallhacks up for your team at all times is fun. Yes, they all suck, but the potential is high, so they will keep picking him and keep practicing him. Most of them will suck forever but maybe 1% of them will eventually become Robin Hood and have a fun rewarding experience.

They just choose to play this way because the alternative is picking someone with absolutely no potential for making plays. Okay so I pick Reinhardt and hold my shield up. If I become really really good and practice for 500 hours I can pick Reinhardt and hold my shield up. Who fucking cares.

Eh, imo it's a clumsy fix for Widow and just like kinda makes bad widowmakers slightly less useful, also that ult charge increase is puny and she still charges faster than basically everybody. I'd rather they keep the damage and give her the same charge rates as Reaper and Pharah, and decrease her magazine size and another couple smaller things to just decrease her uptime basically, it'd be a more meaningful nerf for everyone but the console baddies and shitters who can't aim
