Yeah, I know you can instant fusion sheep but if I make sheep I usually go into it with materials. I use wings all the time with vendor to get more draws so if I get a vendor/bear and a wing in my opening hand I'm off to a good start. I don't know what the usual ratios for it are but since I use it as a draw engine I don't see why I would use it at less than three.

I know Blue-eyes won't get hit that much since DSoD is still selling over in OCG land and the Kaiba SD still hasn't revealed all the monster slots so it could get new support.
Metalfoes aren't really the problem, the floaters and combo enablers are the issue so I could see Majespecters, Stein and Ariadne getting hit
D/D/D has too many pieces to hit so I don't know what they could do to neuter them without making the deck unplayable.

OCG's banlist makes a lot more sense than TCG's banlist.
Raigeki does nothing but punish people for not playing floatshit decks while HFD is actually usable by every deck since nobody wants to deal with backrow causing them to lose the game.
Monster Reborn is only usable in certain decks now since most decks have a way to revive their cards in archetype and pendulums only add insult to injury.
Cyber-Stein stopped being good when handtraps were invented since the 5000 lp is a cost so if you get veiler'd, you may as well scoop right there.
Exterio and Last Warrior can be outed with common Monster effects/S/T and nobody is doing Stein OTK past 2005.
Monkeyboard and Sorceror got their proper hits unlike in TCG which limited Monkeyboard and kept Sorceror at 3.
Monarchs didn't even get touched and E-Tele got a bogus hit.
Upstart and Chicken Game are another story since it was Equalizer/Magical explosion which should have been hit.
The only thing OCG did wrong was Burning Abyss but it's basically Phantom Knights and Speedroids carrying that deck now anyways aside from the fringe ritual decklist which only works since Releaser never got banned.

If they wanted to hit DDD they should limit Gate Contract and Savvy Kepler. That would reduce the deck's consistency without killing it.

Doing something like limiting Lamia or Swirl Slime would completely kill the deck because they would only be able to make one play per game, which really isn't enough these days. That will make it a much less interesting deck to play too.

What I'm telling you is that you don't understand why Exterio is so powerful in the OCG. Your entire deck is based around summoning exterio using up all your resources and then losing because your opponent had strike/kaiju whatever. If your gonna build a deck around summoning exterio you need to find a middle ground between turboing into him and not losing all your fucking cards just to get OTK'd next turn. MSF is much better at that tast because it is a 1 card Exterio summon instead of having to waste a onboard Naturia Beast (which fucks over 3 of the current 4 TCG meta decks to the point they cannot play with it on board) just so that you can summon a slightly more powerful card.

I'm going to take this opportunity to talk about Brilliant Fusion / Seraphinite.
Brilliant Fusion and Seraphinite can be used in a very large number of decks and I see posts constantly about how they should be limited/banned.
But the decks which benefit most from them are decks which are otherwise garbage. The only exception to this is monarchs, but that is because they have been given absurdly powerful support.
Decks which rely on normal summons to make plays are the ones which benefit the most. Even with brilliant at full strength those decks aren't causing any commotion.

If you want to hit monarchs, hit a monarchs card.

I feel like this is the definitive version of ABC. I had a huge problem with not getting a tuner to hand but felt that clogging my deck with more resonators would be bad. So I added Krebons and Emergency Teleport. Krebons has only been dead in about 1 out of 100 duels, and only because I got a starting hand of multiple Red Resonators.

That's the biggest problem with ABC, when you open all your resonators but no field or you open all pieces without something to get them on field or grave.

Upstart is garbage a 39 card deck isn't going to help you that much. How often will that upstart actually be Union Hangar or another combo piece that will actually help that turn? It's almost always better to have Warning instead of Upstart. Lets say you go 2nd what will Maxx C actually do? The deck still dies to any decent trap/negation. You have to draw into twin twisters to actually make sure your plays go through. Even then if your opponent summons a monster with negation (Crystal Wing Infinity ect.) how will Maxx C help you? What can you possibly draw into to reasonably break any half decent board? How will you punish these players going 2nd? Another reason aside from S39 is that Maiden is weak to missing the timing since it's "when...you can" so your opponent can chain anything to the effect targeting Maiden and make it worthless. Let's not forget that Solemn Strike is everywhere so it gets even worse.
You'd find that Dragon Shrine + Return/Silver's Cry is a better combo than her.

Construct enabled Dolls to run Artifacts, Clowns, E-turtle and was splashable in any light decks to enable to Chaos engine.
Dolls were powercreeped and Construct was the final nail in the rotting coffin.
