replace a ppot with magic pot, bring a second recoil and 2-3 fewer karams, and try to do at least 2 kills/trip if you're using scrolls

Feel like making another monkey post since the mechanics have changed slightly:

General:

- They will switch their attacks every 3 blocked attacks.
- If a mage attack hits 0 it doesn't necessarily mean the attack is blocked.
- You can limit your damage entirely to two points; the initial attack, and when switching from a block melee attack.
- You can stay at monkeys infinitely provided you aren't excessively unlucky with drops with just an SGS.
- Always default to mage pray since it can mess up counting if a mage attack hits a 0 but still 'hit'.
- Prioritise not getting hit first over doing maximum damage until its fairly easy to count their attacks.
- Take super restores instead of prayer potions so you can make use of the occasional sara brew drop.

Strategy:

- Pray mage and attack a monkey. Be a few squares away so you can change to melee prayer if it follows you.
- If the monkey is attacking with range/mage, continue until you block its third attack. Switch to the other long-range prayer that the monkey wasn't using (if mage use range, if range use mage) and stand > 1 square away. If the monkey walks to you, quickly switch to melee.
There can be a delay before the monkey starts moving if it does an animation between, so be wary.
- If the monkey is attacking with melee, continue until you block its third attack. Switch to mage pray. You can be hit for damage here by ranged, and if so change to ranged pray and continue.

- I'd consider them vastly easier than they original were. This is mainly due to the change with them now not blocking the damage of the last attack which changes their prayer. This makes strength bonus actually important now (it wasn't before).
- I'd recommend just praying piety and take a lot of prayer potions first in order to get some initial speed and to continue until they lose aggro. If you reach 2 prayer potions, you can switch off piety and its likely that you'll last until more prayer potion drops.

This is the gear I'm currently using as well.

Alchs are really important if you want to stay a while. Don't alch your SGS.

Anyway, I'd really recommend them, especially if you get a black demon task since they are really good profit still. The only downside is that they take a lot of concentration to kill.

I want to make it easy enough to kill without going overboard. Sure I could eagle eye, but that requires managing prayer on my attack switches to.

This is also why I only take a weapon switch and no chap switches/full bandos.

If you were up to you, you definitely could do that though. If just learning them I wouldn't bother however.

zerkers at around 80+ str start to dominate pures esp if u have veng. dont be afraid of voiders, zerkers beat void
