Looks good. And remember, this build gives you every possible reason to ignore DEX.
It might seem useful while leveling and you might feel that your crit rate from the swift step buff is going to waste but you won't really need it or benefit much from it at endgame once you're fully geared.
Feint has you covered for accuracy and Sneak Hit has you covered for crits.
Can also get a sizeable chunk of crit from gear alone. Try to keep that in mind!

More Pelt doesn't make you more tank. More Pelt makes you slightly more useful.

Hunter doesn't need 2 single target disable skills. Retrieve is good enough, coursing should be made a DOT type skill like snatching that you can use on bosses. It makes no sense to have 2 skills that are practically exactly the same that doesn't work on bosses.

I would even forego the crit bonus as long as they made it a DOT usable on ground bosses. Rush dog being the only skill makes it extremely annoying to fight ground bosses.

Like the other anon said, praise is really bad. You want to be using rush dog to engage mobs before skills so you don't need the movespeed. I honestly don't see how they'll be able to improve it in the future. If they made the stat pain a percentage bonus, it'll be OP when you invest in pet stats, and a flat bonus will never scale well.

They just need to give hunter back their auto-rushdog and all will be fine.

As for rush/praise, Rush is mostly fine, think it should have its SP cost lowered for how low its CD/dmg is, its what, 65~70 SP every 6 seconds, and that's our only damage source for ground bosses. That shit's insane for archer SP even assuming it never bugs and always hits.
Praise could be good if it had a higher value or pet stats meant a damn thing to begin with, as is its tied with pointing, either 1 point or no point at all.

Currently, Rush Dog is the only skill that uses the pet's stats. Everything else is performed by the pet, but uses the Hunter's stats. This is obviously wrong and will be changed again in the future. Those skills weren't supposed to do damage, they were (lazily) changed to become damage skills for kTOS OBT.

My guess is that they'll nerf the skill's direct damage, while making them work based on both the Hunter and the Companion's stats. That's why I levelled Praise. However, I doubt Hunter will see ANY changes of any sort until they release the final version of the pet system.

The same patch will probably massively improve Falconers. I'd expect the Hawk to become vulnerable, in exchange for it being able to attack on it's own, and naturally, it's stats will influence Falconer skills, making their damage go way up. It doesn't make sense they made Falconer a DPS class while giving them no damage output.

So far I am not having problems. Still using the Savage bow with +2 Hunter skills, so that helps a little. I go around Retrieving monsters one by one, using Multishot 10 when that's on cooldown, and Snatching on flying monsters when there are any.

I may run into problems later, but so far I am okay. Things will take longer to kill, so Retrieving's duration will match the cooldown the more I level up. And my 18 second Snatching is obviously more than enough for anything that isn't a dungeon boss.

This is horribly wrong. Pet stats is everything wrong with rushdog. Player skills should be based on player stats, even if it's hunter based using your pet. Hunter and falconer shouldn't be the only class relying on dumping a fuckton of silver into your pet to do anything worthwhile. Making hunter skills based on player stats was the only right thing they were doing with hunter.

Falconer attack skills based on pet stats suck as well. You're horrible for asking skills to be made based on pet stats. Swashbuckling has two lines. The first number is the number of enemies it taunts. The second number is the number of additional enemies the Swashbuckling buff the Peltasta recieves allows them to hold aggro on.

Pet classes' damage should be based on both the player and the pet's stats. Furthemore, both Falconer and Hunter were made with a different pet system in mind, where pets did a lot more damage and had their own skill trees. Their damage was reduces(god knows why) on kOBT, and the pet skill system was scrapped in an old CBT version. Maybe someone can post that screenshot of the old pet window with the skills.

The current pet system is placeholder. I am 100% sure we'll get a completely revamped pet system, one that I hope will make sense for Falconer and Hunter.

This is my 3rd Hunter. I know what I am doing. Snatching is pretty good for flying bosses, but it doesn't outdamage true boss-killing DPS skills. Quest bosses are a joke to kill with our without appropriate skills, and I am not going to get top DPS with Snatching in a World Boss, no matter how many points I dump in it.

You're the one who has the wrong idea about Hunter. Hunters are slow, safe, single target killers and restrainers. They bring out the hurt against single targets, while denying them to chance to fight back. Obviously, this doesn't work on Bosses.

The purpose of this character is to be a PvP assassin. Catching people with Cloaking, before they use their Dispellers. Even if they use the Dispeller, they prevent the damage but still get binded, making it easy for me to kill them with the rest of my kit. And Hounding for counter-cloak.

That's because it's bugged so that you can aggro unlimited enemies with Swashbuckling. When they fix it, you'll notice a sudden, massive decrease in your aggro capabilities.
