Widow vs widow is literally: who gets the recon first. You both try and peek, which is how counter sniping works, Turing you on each other instead of team. However, since wall hacks is supposed to be a super fair mechanic for a character that's supposed to line up ahots, of you get yours firat, you can see the enemy widow get into position before she even has the slightest clue, stopping any counter sniping.

Also the fact that she Fucking whispers her ult in frenxh. Even if I do Fucking hear french I assume it's one of the three widows on offense.

Valve created a very specific, flawed system that Blizzard seems to have copied.

- Put everyone on a normal distribution curve
- Dole out flat increases/decreases to MMR based on net win/loss count after calibration
- Average out these normal curve values and call it "balanced matchmaking", invoking the forced-50 meme because a 50th percentile player and a 90th percentile player are a good match against two 70th percentile players.

There are many things wrong with the system that they could've improved on. But they decided to just 100% copy all of Valve's mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if early HotS ranked calibration (if they had any) only paid attention to KDA or "damage dealt" for all heroes instead of realising that mobashit teams aren't all 5-carry teams.
