I'm SL25 and want to farm souls this way and also help out the fun police. Also, do giant seed drops stack? Like if I do that all day and tens of invaders die from one of these runs, do I only get 1 seed or do I get a bunch? Or is the only way to get a bunch of seeds to dupe them with a friend passing them back and forth?

If you've broken through the forest and found Andre the blacksmith, you're basically there already. If not, you can go find the parish from firelink shrine and go on the non-masterkey path.

Upgrade your weapon to +5. You also get large Ember in the beginning of the Depths, which allows you to upgrade your weapons to +10 with large titanite shards.

He does, if you give him Large Ember. Any blacksmith can upgrade to regular +5. And you can ascend your weapons into +6 and then continue upgrading regularly at any blacksmith up to +10. At +10 you will need to find Very Large Ember and ascend your weapon to +11 and then upgrade it to +15. Upgrading your weapons is pretty convoluted in DS1.

Considering the stat requirements, that's really not that much of an overshoot. Bountiful light has identical requierments and near-identical focus cost and heals 420 hp (haha I used the meme number), and since it can heal enemies and you can be pushed away from it, it should be at least double if not more. It used to only heal an estus flask's worth of HP like bountiful sunlight. 25 hp per second would probably be ideal.

Yeah, they're like idiot gankers built into a boss. They could just all attack at once, or attack perfectly out of phase to stunlock you, not to mention kite you with their superior mobility and reach, and they actually let you hit them. Abyss watchers at least has a cannonical reason for why one turns on the others, and they never really have enough power to gank you in the first place, so you get the impression the boss isn't just an idiot.

I got Dark Souls: Prepare to Die on Steam a few years ago and I remember it being a blast. I got stuck around fucking Blighttown though and stopped playing.

Now I have a lot more time on my hands but over the years I think I've realized that I was in over my head and barely scratched the surface of what was going on with that game. If I'm at Blighttown am I far enough into the game that I should just keep going like normal? Or should I start over to try and refresh myself and get the fuller experience out of the thing? I seem to remember having quite a bit of time into it but I also know it's a pretty long game.

I decided to give myself the full giantdad build for a joke with a friend, in light of the community reset day today, and was playing around for a bit when suddenly my physique was made larger well beyond the game's limitations and I instantly died. The thing is, this happened a month ago too.

Corvian Greatknife is basically an ASS with a dagger's moveset
Bandit's Knife is the bleed god of pve but sub-par against targets that can't be bled and functions best on a hollow build
Regular Dagger has the highest AR of the quickstep daggers so is good for bleed-immune targets
Brigand Twindaggers are lots of fun but not very good.

They didn't change the parry window, they just extended the recovery frames.

I have tried EVERY FUCKING THING to get stupid ps4 controller to work in ds1 fuck. Is there some kind of setting in game that tells it to use a controller or something this is fucked. Works fine in ds2 and ds3. I think it might have something to do with all the programs I have running for my racing wheel and joysticks etc but i turned all those off. Maybe my trackball program is interfering with the xcuck controller emulators? Every couple weeks i try everything I can find to get it to work with no luck. Windows 10.

To get the most out of online I'm thinking of doing an SL 120 build. Obviously the softcap for stats is 40 in most cases, but you can't get to 40 in all stats, which should be sacrificed?

What's a good all purpose shield for the 14-16 strength crowd?

I've been using the kite shield for so ridiculously long that I'm sure that there's got to be something better within my reach.

Ideally one that can be upgraded with just regular titanite but if not thats fine I have plenty of scales and twinkling
